The Best! Everyone in my family has them.
The Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Glove is hands down one of the best investments I’ve made for my winter sports gear. These classic 5-finger gloves are designed for skiing and snowboarding, and they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect.Pros:Exceptional Warmth: The warmth provided by these gloves is outstanding. Even in the coldest conditions, my hands remain toasty. The combination of the high-quality insulation and the windproof exterior keeps the chill out effectively.Durability: These gloves are built to last. The army leather palms and the Hestra Triton fabric on the back of the hand are tough and resistant to wear and tear. After several trips, they still look and feel new.Comfort and Fit: The fit is perfect and true to size. The gloves are comfortable right out of the box and don’t require a break-in period. The wrist strap and drawstring closure help to secure the gloves tightly, preventing snow from getting inside.Dexterity: Despite their warmth and bulk, these gloves offer great dexterity. I can easily adjust my gear, handle my ski poles, and use my phone without needing to take them off.Versatility: They are perfect for a range of winter activities beyond skiing and snowboarding. I’ve used them for hiking, snowmobiling, and even just shoveling snow, and they perform excellently in all situations.Cons:Price: The only downside is the price, which is on the higher end for gloves. However, considering the quality, durability, and performance, they are worth the investment for serious winter sports enthusiasts.Bulkiness: They are a bit bulkier than some other gloves, but this is a minor issue given the superior warmth and protection they offer. In summary, the Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Glove is an outstanding product that delivers on all fronts. They are warm, durable, comfortable, and versatile, making them a perfect choice for anyone who spends a lot of time in cold, snowy conditions. While they are an investment, the performance and longevity of these gloves make them worth every penny. Highly recommended!

They are warm and comfortable
These are amazing gloves. It’s been years since I skied and I dreaded purchasing gloves as none ever kept my hands warm! These gloves did the trick. They run true to the size chart, they are warm and dry, and the closure design keeps the out. A great value too. I highly recommend.

Tricky fit (insulation compresses) but very nice, esp. for spring
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked these gloves for downhill, on-piste skiing in spring conditions (April in Europe), but I found them cold in February. The padding compressed quite a bit with 20 days of wear skiing, so they went from a decently snug fit to way too loose. I liked the quality of the fabric and the sewing, the comfortable safety wrist straps, the easy of putting them on and taking them off, and the ability to remove the liners (though that's hard!). I did not find them waterproof when skiing in spring conditions and occasionally with rain. They were easy to slip on and off, and I never dropped them thanks to the safety cord/elastic wrist collar. I loved them but found myself wishing they were warmer in February.

9 years old and going strong
I'm not one of those people who counts how many days I ski each year, but I live in a resort area and ski a LOT. I bought these prior to the 2016-17 season, and they've been my only gloves for 9 winters. The leather on the palms and fingers is pliable but tough. They have some nicks from ski edges, but nothing all the way through the leather. The fabric and stitching are perfect after almost a decade. I slap some Sno-Seal on the leather once a year, but otherwise don't baby them.I did notice my fingertips getting cold on some particularly nasty days the last couple of years. I just bought a set of genuine Hestra replacement liners which made me realize that my old liners were pretty packed out. I expect to have toasty digits in all conditions next winter. There's room under the liners for an additional silk liner which I also picked up just in case. These are actually the cheapest gloves I've ever owned, if I divide the purchase price by the number of years they've kept me warm, dry, and shredding!

Warm and well designed!
They offer excellent warmth and good features. Personally I decided I didn't need the long sleeve though so I'll get Hestras with a shorter one.

Worth the extra money
There are many cheaper options out there, but a perfect example of pay a bit more but enjoy for years vs hours. These are high quality, a great fit when using the measurement recommendation, and warm during snowboarding. Highly recommend!
