K&N Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Towing: Compatible with 2012-2023 DODGE/JEEP: Durango, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee IV, 77-1567KS

Had this installed a week ago and the performance bump is obvious over stock. If K&N claims almost a 30HP increase then I believe them. My 0-60 time dropped from 4.3 to 4.0 and the launch is much more consistent. There is also a cool whine like that of a supercharger note. The stock exhaust is also deeper than with the factory airbox setup. This unit obviously allows the Hemi to breathe better even with the stock programming and mapping. One really neat feature that is not mentioned and that is the rain diverter that covers the heat extractor opening. It simple plugs into the bottomside space and diverts water away from the filter head. The entire assembly is very well engineered and manufactured. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with the purchase. The fit and finish is extraordinary and it clears the AC line with plenty of space. Some other aftermarket CAI units rest directly on the aluminum line but the K&N has plenty of clearance.

If you are on the fence on buying this DO IT. I just installed this in my Jeep SRT and it makes a difference in power and sound . I have flow master mufflers and this has just added a nice throaty sound to the beast . I love it and would recommend buying this. I installed my self in a little over an hour with no problems . I do recommend watching the video on line . Well worth every penny . It is to early for me to know how many MPG I gained but even if I did not gain 1 MPG its worth it . It looks great also

Quick easy install! The performance was immediately felt. The sound was subtle, but did give it a bit more of a growl. Never had an issue with the quality of k&n. One thing to note on the 2018 srt, is there is a metal hose that runs right under the main tube connecting the intake and the filter. Be careful to not bend it too far, but you may need to slightly bend it to give the room for the main tube.

The kit had the incorrect filter to intake tube adapter. K&N were very good at correcting it and sent the correct one next day delivery. The sound from the intake is not much louder than the stock air box. The throttle response is better than stock. The intake air temperature is now very close to the ambient temperature, the stock system was about 20 degrees higher than ambient temperature. My only complaint is that the system is a little pricey, but I am not sorry that I bought it.

Easy install, engine sound is much better, I think I get better MPG, HP gain not tested yet

My husband says it increases his fuel mileage. I’ll just say he’s right. He was able to install it in about an hour and loves the difference he hears vs the stock intake on his SRT Durango.
