Finish Gel Automatic Dishwasher Detergent, Lemon Scent 75 oz

I don't know why I ever started buying pods. Did you know that pods actually do not go in the dishwashing detergent compartment? They are to be thrown in the dishwasher at the bottom. Regardless, You are not getting a better clean out of a pod and you are actually getting less product per wash for more money! This detergent cleans well and takes the same amount of effort and time as a pod, to add to the dishwasher. It also cleans really great and smells great. Never going back to pods.

I've raised 4 children and done countless loads of dishes. I've tried the most expensive brands to the cheapest. This stuff beats all of them. It's thorough and even handles dishes that haven't been scrubbed off beforehand. It doesn't leave streaks on silverware or glass. The gel is thick enough such that it doesn't go dripping everywhere when you begin to close the door either. It's great. I never thought I'd be reviewing dishwashing detergent but this product deserves it!

I've been using Finish dishwashing products for years and years. Nowadays, most of my household products are "green", but I have not found an alternative to Finish that performs the essential task...getting the dishes clean. I much prefer liquid to pods, since I find my dishwasher doesn't always dissolve the pod covering properly, and powder leaves me with goopy lumps of wet powder in the dispenser.

It does clean your dishes, but raise residue in your dishwasher. Then you have to buy cleaner cleaner to clean your dishwasher. I would use something else. It doesn’t leave residue.

This leaves terrible white scuzz on my dishwasher and dishes, so I had to switch back to my usual brand once it came in stock--but it's fantastic for cleaning stains in my stainless steel sink, which I only discovered when I was trying to use it up by sending it down the drain. Squirt it on, let it sit, rinse it off. Maybe wipe a little if there is buildup. I'm hoping it will work wonders in the bathtub as well.
