Good Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor.
I bought this to spray on my fishing reels as well as in and around the moving parts on my boat, motor and trailer to protect them from the salt water. I like it on the boat, motor and trailer, but not on the reels. I've been using CorrosionX for years and decided to try this because it was less expensive. The regular CorrosionX (red bottle) is much thinner where as the B'laster Corrsoin Stop leaves a thick coating more like the CorrosionX Heavy Duty. I like the thickness for things like my outboard and trailer where I feel a heavy coating gives longer lasting protection from the salt, however, I feel like the heavy residue attracts dirt and sand on my reels or things that have very close tolerances. It also leaves them feeling slippery and is hard to wipe off. I've been using this product for several months and so far I've had no issues with corrosion.I'd recommend the B'laster Corrosion Stop if you are looking for a heavy duty corrosion inhibitor.

This stuff is an amazing way to protect parts which will be exposed to the elements. It is a little thinner than Fluid Film, but that can be an advantage as I found it easier to apply and get into nooks and crevices. Once try it is tacky, but not runny. It doesn't seem to attract dust/dirt like some coatings I've used.I used this to coat an undercarriage of a small SUV that sees lots of snow and salt in the winter. It took the entire case of 16oz cans to coat the underside, including axles and suspension parts. I avoided the rubber components (such as bushings and hoses) and focused on the areas of the body where moisture will collect. So far, it's been on the vehicle for about three months. Its seen quite a bit of abuse but water is still beading up on the areas I've applied it. Even if I have to apply it once a year, this is a great way to prevent corrosion.

Great for (attempting to) prevent rust through salty winters
I bought a bunch of this stuff for cheap back in 06 or 07 and sprayed it on every somewhat vulnerable spot on my mostly rust-free 1981 VW rabbit. It lasted for 2-3 seasons without any real change in the amount of rust and I only applied it maybe twice in that time period. When I couldn't find it anywhere and didn't spray the car for 1 winter, it was very noticeable. I finally rebought this 6 pack, and even though the car has some parts beyond a hobbyist repair, I will be spraying this all over again for this winter so the next owner has the option to restore it instead of just junk it. After 10 years in the midwest and driven most winters, this was the only reasonably priced product that kept the rust at bay. My newer bmw rusted out much faster since I never treated the old metal, and the VW has much more rust-prone metal.

Gunky and it works
I spray this on all exposed metal, particularly parts of boat and trailer that get wet in my brackish water environment. It's gunky and sticks well. My best use is to spray on when not using the boat for a while.
