Saved me $500
Local garage quoted me a price of over $500 for this. Thanks to my gearhead nephew who advised me to order it from eBay, I purchased this for around $35. Apparently, this part is made by only one factory in China that supplies it worldwide accordingly. Nephew installed it for me. Total quote from local garage, including the part and labor was around $850. Working perfectly; passed the inspection with flying colors. This is what I consider bad, wrong-headed capitalism.

Failed within 18 months
Failed in less than 18 monthss. Could not start vehicle, no crank. Diagnosed that this neutral switch was not able to provide ground to starter interlock relay. Swapped relay with working relay and no crank no start. Bypassed relay to provide power to starter solenoid and vehicle starts. Took a day to diagnose that the neutral safety switch failed.

Edit: Defective out of the box
(Edit)3 hours of tracing wires led me to determine the switch is defective. Reverse lights will come on, but only right before the switch changes to the neutral position. Disassembled old switch that I bought this switch to replace, cleaned the contacts, and re-installed. I now have working reverse lights again.Still resolved the issue that had me broke down, and was a good temp fix and the price point wasn't awful, but I'd only recommend one of these if you're reeeeally stuck. Two stars.Keep an eye out on YouTube, as since I cant return this switch, I plan to take it apart and use it to show how I fixed my other one. Might save you some $ and headache.(Original Review)Showed up fast, installed without issue.I don’t have any reverse lights now, not sure if it’s the switch or the bulbs, I’ll have to look into it more later.Solved my hard shifting and not wanting to engage the selected gear issues though, and I’m happy about that.

The cable is not long enough
Great product, it fits on my zf 5hp24a transmission but the cable isn’t long enough to reach the connector in the car.Junk.
