Not only is this book wonderfully written, it has changed the way I pray. It taught me how to pray more meaningful and stronger prayers. I read something from it each day. I’ve bought several of these to hand out to those who are struggling and need prayer. It is by far one of my favorite books. I would recommend this to anyone. I am really pleased with this wonderful compilation of three prayer books into one. It is a timeless classic. I very much appreciate the index of the prayers so that you can quickly find a prayer that deals with a situation that you are facing. Many people might ask why a prayer book? Shouldn't you pray using your own words? Well, there is a long answer and a short answer. I'll adopt the short answer for this review. Praying pre-written prayers is essentially what we all have done for years using the Psalms. We have read, meditated and prayed the prayers of David and other writers for years without much concern that we were "reading someone else's prayer". Prayer books such as this one just take us another step in that direction. We read here the prayers of someone who has gone down the path before us, faced the trial or temptation that we are facing and they have poured their heart out to God. Then they recorded that prayer and we have the privilege of being able to read and meditate on their words. By reading their prayers, agreeing with their prayers and then turning them into our prayers we are using a three fold process to ask God to hear our hearts and respond with His answers. The prayers in this book are well written, timeless, encouraging and helpful to give you and me the words and thoughts we need to be able to communicate with the Lord. Keep a prayer journal at hand and re-write many of these prayers into your own words. Use them as a guide and you will find that your prayer life will grow by leaps and bounds. Again, I am extremely pleased with this book, it's design and binding are great, but more than anything the words will bless you. Enjoy!

This is the 4th time I have ordered these books sinsce 1992. Actually 5 cause I gave one recently as a gift. My only compkaint is the print is too small. I need large print. These have rooted me in Gods word and prayer calms me down.

If you are looking for a book that will help train you up in praying powerful prayers based on the Word of God, then this is it! The prayers are lifted from the Bible and this 3-in 1 volume version has been updated from the previous volumes. Some of the prayers in the older book with the 'old English' (KJV) have been updated using more contemporary English which will make it easier for people to understand what they are praying about! I love the book! It covers such a broad variety of topics ranging from prayers for yourself, your family, finances, children including prayers for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), schools, the government, leaders both spiritual and political, legal matters, mental health, bereavement, marriage, schools, nations, just to name a few. If you've struggling with knowing how to pray or what to pray, this is a GREAT start. It lays a great foundation upon which you can develop your own personal prayer lifestyle. It's like learning to drive or cook- you need to have the basics instilled into you which you repeatedly practice until it becomes second nature, and then you find you have that platform from which you can develop your own flair or style. I highly recommend this book! Your prayer life will go to a new level if you practice (that's the key) the principles outlined in it. Go for it!!! You'll never be the same!

Very nice! Covers everything with scripture verses that speak on each prayer. There is nothing generic about this book. It can be felt deep down just reading and praying.

It is beautifully bound and the perfect size & feel. No wishy washy or flowery prayers. Just solid, straightforward, prayers using Biblical passages. Lovely gift.

This must be the 5th or 6th time I have ordered this as I have ended up giving them away or as presents. It is an excellent resource for prayer like a springboard giving you the principles of the Word of God for prayer. A word to anybody buying it for the first time, I have yet to have met anybody else who didn't have the experience of 'hearing' the words 'this wont work your just reading it out loud or similar thoughts' take no notice and carry on, its a lie to stop you praying effectively. God's word cannot fail and whether you are going through stuff and whispering it or praying it passionately, rest in the knowledge it is God's word and it will train you to the point where you wont be reliant on it and your prayers will flow.

An amazing prayer book.

I ordered this book as I wanted all of the books in one. I have used the books over many years and they are a part of my daily devotion .As this book uses scripture in all of it’s prayers you easily start to remember the word and apply it to your everyday life-A must have for every Christian believer .
