The flag pole isn't made of the heaviest material, but if properly placed, it can withstand winds of 50 mph+, plus it looks nice and sleek for a telescopic pole. I would highly recommend this pole. I would not recommend buying this package if you're looking for a pole with all the parts needed to fly 1-2 flags. This is a starter kit and the components should be upgraded sooner than later. I say this because the ball on top of the flag pole is plastic and cheesy looking (not a big issue), but the carabiners aren't durable and break easily, the rope falls apart after a few months out in the elements and the cleat is small and looks bad (to me). But for the price, this is a good purchase (again, just for the pole).

I do like the flagpole! I didn't want it to be so tall so I left out a section. When I went to assemble it I realized that the holes (prefilled) were too high if I used it one way and too low if used it the other. I had no choice but to drill two new holes for the cleat. But it worked out fine. See the picture. Oh, and they could have included a higher quality flag! I fly mine 24/7, so I expect it to last about a month! Thanks!

this was easy to put up and seems sturdy. of cours is new so has not had any wind, rain or other elemental challenges. it arrived in a timely manner, had easy to follow instructions and I had it installed in a very short time.
