Tall, wide, and practical. Gives me more office options at home
*16 inch Laptop use: Works like a dream in my bed and on the ground. At even a slight incline my laptop does slide but the provided bumper keeps it from falling. With my laptop all the way to one side, I still had a 9 inch wide space for my mouse or something else While the table didn't feel too unbalanced.*Computer mice: Again even at a slight incline there's nothing keeping it from sliding down, but the miniscule size lip at the bottom will keep your mouse from falling off of it if you don't use a mousepad. But honestly, for in bed use it felt more ergonomic to have the mouse resting on something flat to the side sitting below the desk. You could use a mouse on the pleather top, but you would really want a mouse pad if you decide to game on it.*Book use: I used a 11.125x8.5in 255 page book and a 9x6in 250 page book. Laying on the table is amazing, however with the book holder it's YMMV. the lip will hold up to 1 inch of open book, but didn't have a problem holding onto my books when it's mounted in the table. The legs of the book holder may limit you if you want to use it without being mounted in the book holder groove since uneven weight of a large open book made it wobbly.*Height: This thing is tall in bed. At it's highest I could easily move my legs around. Even on the floor There's a lot of leg room if you prefer the table to sit tall. The sled feet were what I hoped for, without anything sticking out that might dirty or rip linens.Weight: Let's say I got banished from my bedroom or wanted to take my stuff somewhere quiet, it's still light enough with my laptop on it to pick up the whole thing and take it down the hall.*Couch use: It felt very precarious as if it would tip over if I didn't hold it down. Would caution against it unless you are skinny enough it can sit more solidly.*Drawer: For a pencil drawer it doesn't fit brand new pencils very well. However it's only by a fraction of an inch. You'll be able to comfortably fit slightly used pencils, pens, eyeglasses, cables, drives, phone, small cutlery, crayons, markers... It wouldn't fit any of my computer mice or the eyeglass case I have, which would make me hesitant to leave prescription glasses in the drawer.*Extra: I placed the desk on my kitchen table and wound up with an pretty good standing desk. Placing it on my kitchen counter gave me an eye level place to put recipes while having space underneath it as well with an added bonus of keeping a laptop/phone/book/tablet more out of the way from getting damaged. Whether or not that is practical enough to do is up to you.Picture vs reality: It looks larger in the picture which I was fully expecting, but the pleather in the picture is more textured as well. This is more smooth which I wouldn't call necessarily a bad thing since it makes a mouse work better.

Best laptop desk ever.
I ordered several laptop desks that were either discarded or broke due to poor quality depending on where they were made. I am very pleased with this product and its functionality. Sturdy legs hold the desktop at an adjustable lap height to whatever angle is needed and provide a large light weight work surface.I use it in my recliner. It is versatile enough to use with just about any seating surface. I love it!

I had cervical surgery and this desk helped greatly. The elevation and the tilt is perfect. Very well made too.

Perfect lap desk for working on the couch or in bed.
Works perfect for what I wanted it for. Would have liked it better if it could have gone one more level lower, as I feel like even on its lowest setting it still sits a bit high. Also could have used a little deeper drawer so I could store my mouse in when not using. I love the non slip surface, and the ability to tilt. The size is pretty big, I can easily use my laptop, 13 in, Mouse and mousepad, as well as have my phone on a stand on it for conference calling. It comes assembled and ready to go for the most part. It's comfortable to use, and I do not notice my laptop getting hot while on it. Definitely worth the money.

Great purchase of a Lap Desk
Best instructions ever-clear, concise and accurate. Appreciated the note from the two owners about themselves and the company. Using the desk has exceeded my expectations and the various desk features have already expanded my use of the desk. When not in use I can easily collapse the desk and put it next to the couch or bed. One of the best purchases I’ve made at Amazon.

Fantastic Desk, Had Issues with Seller, but all solved
Purchasing this desk was a trying experience. Amazon sent me a used desk even though I had paid for a new one. Even when taking the plunge to ship the desk myself, I was lied to about the quality of the desk. Contacting the company of the desk led to sour results and I was left with a bad impression about Amazon and the desk company.Fortunately the Company of Cooper Desk PRO XL reached out to me, read about my experience and were very understanding. Apologizing for miscommunication, they are investigating and hope to improve Amazon supply and shipping services of their products. They sent me missing parts and a replacement desk at no cost.Th company went above and beyond with their services and generosity in order to see that I was satisfied with their product. This is a company that clearly cares about their products and customers.Review on desk:The Cooper Desk Pro XL It Is light enough while being sturdy while boasting a generous amount of space to accommodate most work situations. It is easy to adjust to the height and angle you desire. Things do slip off desk at it's highest angle including a book inserted into book stand. Understandable because of gravity. The included fold out stand is quite handy too as it can be placed on the desk or folded out to be placed on another surface which has been really great for my art studies. The side pull out draw has been quite convenient as well for holding miscellaneous items. I often tend to place loose items like flash drives, earphones and microfiber clothes in it, so it is very handy to have. The insert-able stopper really completes the functionality of the desk to adjust angles. Without it most objects will be sliding off the desk. I found that the insert-able stopper combined with a Cooler Master wrist rest keeps my iPad and keyboards from slipping off the desk and provides the comfort I desire when working for long periods of time.I much as I would have liked to use the included stand it is not sturdy and stable enough for my drawing needs. I have my iPad resting on a small metal mesh stand to help angle it further. Power banks and accessories are behind the iPad that act somewhat to distribute the weight over the desk. The desk definitely makes for a very pleasant experience to work with on a couch or bed or even upon the floor. Where I was chained to working solely from my main workstation desk I now have the freedom to move around to more comfortable locations.Critique on desk: I am unsure if this is the intended design, but I a had a few critiques. There is no grip on the bottom of the desk feet which causes desk to slide around even on grippy surfaces. This may be the design to make it easier to slide around when you would rather not pick it up. One might have to stick rubber or grippy like material under the feet if they desire not to have the desk slide around. The inside pull out drawer is glossy plastic. Possibly a foam or rubber inlay of the desk drawer could be added to protect from scratches and objects sliding around. Due to the desk feet needing much surface area in order to be make the desk stable it does make short chairs and couches unavailable for use. Also when the desk is folded and placed flat, it rocks back and forth which is a pity as it limits it's functionality for the user to lay it on a surface and still be able to work on the desk.Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the desk and company. I completely recommend this desk for an adjustable and portable workstation solution.
