Easily the best frying pan I have ever owned
It was time to upgrade when we bought an induction stove top. After much soul searching I settled on Le Creuset. I bought the10 and 12 inch pan. I have had them for two months and used both quite a bit. Fantastic. Even heating. Non-stick but still browning well. Easy to clean. No warping. Very comfortable handles which stay cool. Simply very very good frying pans. Still look like new. Photo: Spanish tortilla, started in the 10 inch pan, turned into the 12 inch. Clean and easy release.

Great Pan for glass cooktops
High quality pan & cover that works beautifully on our glass top electric stove. Following instructions for care, this should last a very long time.

Stellar Cooking Performance
Real person here! Ordered this pan via Amazon Used and got a $40 discount. $115! Score! Just a teeny little Nick along the top edge that you can hardly see. But not worth a dime if it doesn’t perform well. But perform it does. I have a ceramic top GE range. That’s always fairly slow to heat up. I have several other high-end pans that I always heat using a medium setting and then wait and wait. With this Le Creuset pro, it seemed the heat took less time. Not fast, but not super slow. That was nice but the real pay off was how well it cooked. My first use was breakfast with pancakes and eggs. I let it come up to full heat before starting of course. Added a drizzle of olive oil. The pancakes were nicely browned and perfect. The eggs were also absolutely perfect and of course slid right out. No clue how long it’ll last but I am very meticulous in caring for my gear so I expect a long life. I loved it so much. I went back in and ordered the Le Creuset Pro 12 inch stirfry pan. Full price. It just has to last a few years to have the significant investment make sense. Fingers crossed.

Baby it, and it will stay awesome
Wonderful non-stick pan. I've had it for about a year now and it is still non-stick and fries eggs like a dream. I baby this thing: No high heat, no metal tools, gentle handwash. I save the rougher handling for my stainless steel pan. It is pretty heavy...I can't lift it with one arm very comfortably, and I would consider my arm strength to be a bit above the average housewife.

Great for eggs, but bottom will scrape your glass top
The Good: * pan is a great pan for cooking eggs with a super slick surface * it is slightly lighter than most in this range, and a comfortable weight to handle. * comfortable handle, low angle, round and soft. The Bad: * If using a glass top surface, the sharp edges on the bottom will scrape your cook top (The direction say not to move pan while cooking) Right!? I don’t think that is possible. * The contact surface on the bottom of pan doesn’t fit any of my induction heating elements. It should be the same size. * The bottom of the pan is much smaller than the cooking surface, so food around the edges of the pan have less heat. For the price, you would think these little bugs would be worked out. I would not recommend this pan for cooking with glass top due to the scraping the glass causing damage over time.

Get what you pay for
I upgraded to this set two years ago. Waited to write a review after using them. Easily best pans I’ve ever owned. A bit more money but last 10x longer. Even cook on foods. Holds temperature well. Cleans well. Most durable cooking set I’ve had. I can’t say enough to spend a bit more, treat yourself. Buy these. No regrets.

Exceptional pan
Yes, it is expensive so try to find it on sale before buying but once you get it (or another of the Toughened nonstick pieces), you'll be every so happy with it's performance. I still use a touch of butter, EEVO or coconut oil for flavoring but the non-stick on this pan is fantastic making it a joy to cook with and super easy to clean after. We recently go an induction cook top and the pan's heat distribution is excellent. This size was actually purchased to complement a larger set with smaller pans in it.

Le Creuset needs to stop selling these
I'm an every-day cook. 90% of what I eat is made from scratch in my own kitchen. I've been using Teflon and cast iron in the kitchen for years. Teflon is easily the best non-stick material on the market, but it's not durable. Plus, you can't expose it to high heat. I keep a Teflon pan for eggs simply because there is no legitimate alternative. But for everything else? I need some durable non-stick pans that will last. I will be using them every day, so I went with a brand that I have a high amount of respect for. Most of my cookware is Le Creuset. It's amazing stuff. These pans are not amazing. I bought a 10" and a 12". I've heard that you can get 10 years out of anodized aluminum. I got less than a year out of these. The 12", which gets used more, started to stick after about 6 to 8 months, and the 10" started to stick as we got closer to a year. I've heard that you can refurbish anodized aluminum on your own, so I'm going to look more into that to hopefully get a bit more bang for my buck. These things were expensive. Everything about them is high quality except for the surface. Unfortunately, if that's what you're buying them for, then you're better off with well-seasoned cast iron.
