I LOVE this pixel retro speaker so much! It is the cutest thing ever (and the packaging is adorable too!) and has so many features! The speaker is also AMAZING quality despite it being a tiny device! It can also get super loud or quiet so the range is very convenient. The pixel art options are endless on the app ( amazing app btw works seamlessly). Seriously, there is literally a pixel art design for anything. I wanted Snoopy the dog from Peanuts to appear on the speaker, it did in seconds( see attached image for a picture of it!). The customization options are also literally endless since you can design your own pixel art if you want to. It is so nice because I have it on my desk and it literally brightens my day to see these cute animations. Speaking of brightness, this thing can get bright! The brightness range is incredible and super adjustable. Plus there is a planner feature where you can map out your day according to different animations that will be displayed! I personally use the stopwatch feature a lot for practice tests and it looks so cute, literally makes me so happy. And during breaks, you can be assured that the music quality is going to be perfect. I love the micro SD card feature for playing music because I don't always have my phone on Bluetooth ( to limit distractions) and I can still listen to my favorite songs from anywhere including my desk. When I do use Bluetooth, it never lags or skips which is great because I have had previous speakers that have done that. It is the perfect feature since it has these two ways to play music! Also, I adore the music visualizer feature. There are a few settings built-in but you can take your favorite animation (from the app), and then it will display it based off of the music beats. The charger is a USB-C which is super convenient because all of my other chargers are that too so I don't need to clutter up my space with random chargers! On the topic of charging, battery life is amazing and the charging time is much less than what is stated in the manual. It once lasted for 3 straight days without a charge. I believe the manual said it takes like 4 hours to completely charge. I tested this out and it only took a little over an hour! The games on the speaker are super fun and retro. Even though it is not the main feature, it is nice to have and I will play with it as a break sometimes. This speaker is a must-have as it does everything anyone could ever want. It not only is a speaker but an aesthetic clock (attached an image for reference), a retro pixel game machine, a pixel art display, a planner, a stopwatch, a music visualizer, and so much more! I cannot recommend this retro pixel speaker enough, it is truly exceptional and well-made! I am very impressed and highly recommend!

I have thought about getting one of these for a while. Seeing them in so many insta posts, youtube videos etc really made me want one. I am so glad I finally caved in and got one, its super cute, awesome and totally worth it! First off the packaging is superb. It comes in this cute little bag with rope handles, inside is container holding the device, push on the side of it and the front door pops open for you to remove the device. Behind the device packaging holder is your manual and stickers. I found the device easy to set up, I downloaded the app, pressed the power button on the side of the device, connected via bluetooth and that was it ready to go before I wanted to customise it to my own preferences. No manual needed for this part, was so easy to do, the manual is handy for getting in depth on the device and all the features it is capable of. The ability to customise which display you want is amazing, the app has so many designs to choose from, with new ones getting added everyday. Be aware though that not every design will work on this device, some are designed for the bigger devices, so you just have to find one that works well for you, but as I mentioned, there are loads to choose from, so this won't be a problem. Key clicking sounds is such nostalgia with this little device, it reminds me of playing on my old commodore 64, love the sounds the keys make. You will only really use these when playing the mini games on the device or changing the display/turning the volume up and down. I felt the sound was decent for the size of the device and I was also super impressed some screen designs come with sound. For example, I was using a rain drop design and the sound was of the rain falling. Was so cool! This device doesn't have to be an added accessory for your pc table or art table etc, it can be used anywhere. Right now, mine is sitting beside my TV in my living room. Really recommend it!

This is just so quirky and random but cool. The speaker is good quality and the bass is pretty good for a small speaker. The pixel screen with clicky keyboard and selection of crazy games is just weird, but my daughter loves it. It has a decent weight to it too. I was suprised with the quality to be honest. Better than I expected.

I'm a nerd for retro products, but I'm also an audiophile. Functionality: The speaker connects easily to devices over bluetooth, has good range, and is easy to switch between devices. It's easy to use/control with the on device buttons, that allow to pause, control volume, skip/repeat tracks and so on, as well as change the pixel visuals. Also, easy to control from a device. The feel of the app and the visuals are also retro, so might be frustrating for someone who isn't into this sort of thing. The battery life isn't terrible but isn't anything to write home about either - pro is you can use it while it charges (I simply switch to another speaker). Sound: The audio quality is *just ok*. This evidently was built with a focus on the retro vibe it has, and not meant to compete with premium speakers. The volume can go quite high without getting distorted. The base is a little lacking but this works well for movies/series etc. You're getting a really good, and dynamic, playful speaker for this price. It won't blow your mind with its sound, but you'll definitely have a lot of fun playing with it.

Not sure about the battery life but I have it plugged to my pc hopefully that charges it enough. It’s adorable, the planner and event function is very useful and cute too. It’s basically a glorified alarm clock and speaker which is not a bad thing, I would totally recommend this if you have extra cash to spend but you absolutely do not need this product. To be fair, it comes with other amazing functions but I would probably not use those except for the event/alarm/speaker functions. One of things that it’s lacking is the RGB functions for the keyboard. It can cycle through different RGB settings but you are unable to set a static RGB colour of your choice (static is only for the white light). Also, it would be great if the app allows us check the battery percentage instead of having the tap the power button ( it doesn’t show the exact battery percentage and I feel that the power button would wear off over time). This product has so much potential to it, please update the application and with some of the functions I mentioned above and it would be perfect. Hope that the Divoom team sees this.

Die 256-LED-Pixelmatrix ist leucht-stark und speziell in diesem Design, hervorragend eingearbeitet. Allgemein, ist das "Mini-PC" Design sehr schick anzusehen und macht gut was her, die Tasten klicken und arbeiten wie bei einem mechanischem Keyboard - ziemlich cool. Der Hebel lässt sich leicht ziehen und dient als "Enter"-Taste für die Menüs. Der Klang ist sehr gut, für einen 10w Lautsprecher ist es sehr beachtlich. Die Funktionen sind überschaubar, für einen kleinen Lautsprecher aber durchaus schon mehr als andere bieten: - Bluetooth Kopplung von zuspielenden Geräten als Audiobox - Diverse Möglichkeiten zur Visualisierung. Von kleineren Animationen bis hin zu Equalizer-Visualisierungsmöglicheiten ist alles vorhanden. - Beleuchtete Keyboard-Buttons - MiniSpiele wie Tetris und Snake oder einen Ausmalmodus - MicroSD Kartenslot um Mobil auch ohne Smartphone MP3s abzuspielen - Der 10w Lautsprecher hat eine überraschend gute Klangqualität und ist deutlich lauter als erwartet - Kleinere Apps wie Weckfunktion, Dezibel-Messer, Punkte-Counter für z.B. Kicker, Stoppuhr - Zeitgermäß wird zum Laden des integrierten Akkus ein USB-C Anschluss verwendet Mittels App kann der üppige Funktionsumfang noch erweitert werden - hierfür sind natürlich Berechtigungen auf dem Handy notwendig, die vielleicht nicht immer logisch erscheinen, aber wirklich gebraucht werden um die Funktionen auszuüben: - Notifikationsanzeigen für Instagram, Facebook, Twitter oder Whatapp - Zusätzliche Animationen können aus einer Datenbank heraus aktiviert werden - Es können eigene Bilder/Animationen mittels der App generiert werden - Timer/Wecker können gesetzt werden - An Termine kann erinnert werden - Schlafzeiten können festgelegt werden, damit das Gerät zu bestimmten Zeiten kein Licht&Ton von sich gibt - DJ Mixer, um aus einem Preset an Sounds, einen kleinen Beat&Melodie zu generieren oder gar aufzuzeichnen - Internet-Radiokanäle können auch via Smartphone gestreamt werden Die Bedienung ist nach kurzer Eingewöhnung recht einfach: M - Menü Taste Pfeil Links/Rechts - dient der Auswahl +/- ändert die Lautstärke des Lautsprechers Sonne - Schaltet die Visualisierungsmodis durch (Uhr, Licht, Animation, Visualisierung etc) Hebel - Dient quasi als Enter Button oder z.B. als Play/Pause bei Spotify Nennenswert ist noch, das die Taster, alle doppelt belegt wurden mit Funktionen. Dazu muss man die jeweilige Taste 3-5 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Mittels längerem Druck auf die Sonnen-Taste kann die Helligkeit des Displays reguliert werden oder im Visualisierungsmodus kann die Art der Visualisierung damit durchgeschaltet werden, oder im Animationsmodus die aktive Animation durchgeschaltet werden... Hält man die M-Taste gedrückt, kann die Buttonbeleuchtung separat ausgeschaltet werden. Ich möchte jetzt nicht jeden Button erläutern, prinzipiell sollte man aber diese Funktionen Mal ausprobieren. Die Software ist auf jeden Fall vom Design her noch verbesserungswürdig, erfüllt allerdings seinen Zweck. Preislich könnte es durchaus noch etwas günstiger ausfallen, ich würde den Artikel eher im Bereich 50 Euro sehen, aber es ist trotzdem ein schönes Präsent für andere.

This is the best purchase ever!!! The sounds quality is actually good i was expecting it to be bad but no. There are aoo many things you can do with this cute retro speaker! Games, coloring your own pixel art, alarm clock, make some beats lol, put text across the screen and add effects and change the colors, and it doesn’t feel cheap or anything its actually a little heavy and the keys click soo satisfyingly. The joy stick is super cool and everything is just way worth the money in my opinion!🙏 it even cane in a cute little case with the charger and manual. Definitely recommend for people who love little retro things!!
