Castelli Free Aero Race 4 W Short 45 Size M

The bike shorts look like they are made very very well. I loved the fabric and the panel design. I have always worn and loved Castelli cycling shorts. Considering my current pair was super worn, I was super excited to try out a new pair in a new design. I used the official Castelli sizing chart, measured myself and matched a size S on the chart. The bike shorts run super super small. I am returning the S pair and will order another pair, but I am unsure on whether to take a chance on a M or an L size, considering how 'off' the sizing is. I am 5'1" and wear a size 4 in regular shorts.

I am 5'5", 145 lbs, and purchased an XL. I normally wear large in cycling shorts, but sized up after reading reviews (not on Amazon) and am glad I did. I purchased primarily for indoor cycling, but have also taken them outdoors (rides 1 hr+). In both situations the padding is great and provides full coverage, they are comfortable, breathable, and the seams do not rub. Castelli is a premium brand, and if you're interested in longer rides, they are worth the investment. If you're considering these, think about how you're using them. If you prefer short, sub 30 minute rides or your butt is "broken in", you can *probably* get away with something cheaper...the choice is yours.

Last item I will get from Castelli. The quality is going down. I am returning mine .

Buon fondello con aerazione , buon tessuto tecnico e ottima fascia elastica di silicone che non stringe sulla gamba.
