The book is very detailed and helpful. Even if you know alot about woodworking it never hurts to refresh your knowledge

The book is written so the average newcomer can read and understand it!

I was expecting more detailed information on projects and materials used with projects. This book does provide the reader with tons of Safety Material that every reader needs to read. Some of the material/pictures seem very basic and missing some key points. Overall, as a teacher’s reference this is a great tool. I would recommend this book. Typos aside, this was an informative and useful book that I'm looking forward to reading again and again as I get more comfortable in the workshop. I really appreciate the fact that the author knows what it's like to be a beginner and makes his instructions clear for people who are starting with very limited experience. I have decided that this had to been written by AI. Good intro to woodworking but needs editing. For instance, some of the page breaks are in the wrong place and several of the picture are poor. I bought this book for my son and found myself writing notes in the margins to clarify statements that I thought needed help.
