Great alternative litter - used for over 1 year - scoop it, don’t shake it!
Tofu is our current litter of choice. No smell in the house and easy to keep a clean box. Clay litter is just the worst and this is the best alternative I’ve found. We were using clumping paper litter (awesome) but it became hard to find and very expensive. We’ve used crystals with other cats, and with current cat as well. But clumping litter makes it easy for me to monitor my cats output. She has a history of UTI so knowing how much she has urinated helps me catch any issues early. She is on a controlled diet which has resolved the issue but it’s still one of the easiest ways to spot a problem.Long hair cat with very hairy paws. This litter does NOT get tracked. We trim her paws and use an oversized mat as well. Every once in awhile, there might be a piece that sticks to the back of her rear leg but, it’s one piece and easily cleaned up.Cleaning the box is the easiest out of all litters. Any leftover at the end of the month gets dumped and the box doesn't require any scrubbing. Dump, rinse, sanitize, and dry. Super easy.Scooping this litter is less of a shake and more of a slide. Meaning, don’t aggressively shake the clump - let the loose litter fall back into the box. We use a simple box so it’s easy to access - I just lift up one side of the box and the loose littler will move away, then just scoop out the clump. If there’s still loose litter, angle the scoop to let it slide off. If you shake it lose, the clump will fall apart. You MUST scoop this litter. I think of this the same as my toilet, no one wants to use a toilet that hasn’t been flushed. Plus, just gross to leave it. Why would you want those smells in your home? My cat is fairly regular and she shares my bathroom so it’s easy enough to scoop twice a day. Smell of the litter isn’t unpleasant and the texture of clumps reminds me of cookie dough (sorry, but true). The good news is it sticks to itself more than the scoop or the bottom of the box. A simple Clorox wipe keeps things clean.

Much better on lungs…kitty and me both
I love this litter. Sometimes it gets sticky, gooey but turn scooper over and scrape under the chunks and it will cover the goo with mix and then scoop out. I don’t use this alone though. I use both the green tofu and the white mixed tofu. I find when together it makes absorbing and scooping easier. I did not gradually transition cats. I dumped their old and started this new tofu type litter and they went right to it. They used immediately and continue to use. My cats no long have a perfuming litter smell on their coats. The tofu has little odor and if any it smells good. Very LOW, if any, dust. I no longer breathe in horrible amounts of litter dust when scooping for 3 cats.

Eco-friendly and low tracking, but little odor control
We began using this litter about 2 weeks ago. We have two cats that use the litter box. They both acclimated to the litter pretty quickly. What I like about the litter: 1) It is Eco-friendly. 2) It is scoopable and the urine forms clumps that can be flushed (along with the little poos). 3) It seems to be dust free. 4) It doesn't track all over the house. I would find little grains of litter in our bed with the old litter we used. 5) The litter itself doesn't have an overpowering smell. Some things that I don't like so much: 1) It takes awhile to scoop all the clumps while trying not to also pick up the clean litter. 2) With two cats, it is necessary to scoop AT LEAST once per day, if not twice. 3) If you don't scoop very frequently, you will smell a very strong urine odor. 4) If you aren't careful, it can be hard to flush down. Several flushes are necessary and this takes away from the eco-friendly standpoint. 5) It is pretty expensive. For two cats, we are going through approximately one bag per week. That's about 3x the cost of our old litter.Summary: It is a good alternative to regular clumping litter, but be prepared to scoop often. I don't know if we will continue using this or if we will look for other similar options.

you will need to put baking soda with litter
save your money ... it smells nice till the cat does duty just once. you must clean it out right after it pee's in it, or it will harden to bottom of pan, then you will darn near need a chisel to get it out.. when cat poops in it run no stopping the smell. not good for smelly poop. save your money buy any other kind but this. please note I have a small kitten, and yes it covers it's mess. over $14 dollars is to much for this .. if your cat uses litter box while you are sleeping at night you will wake up to a smelly room or house. sad part is I bought 2 bags of this garbage. because I watched the darn video on the product. hope this is helpful I'm just being honest.

Excellent product
What a great product. Especially if your looking for a safe alternative. I'm a breeder and have used pine pellets for years. I tried this and was pleasantly surprised how it works. No litter is full proof on keeping orders down. Oder control comes with a clean litter box. I mix this with another tofu litter watermelon or peach. It's amaizing together. We recommend to all our clients. I hate a dirty floor with dust or sand. This is great pretty much stays in the litter pan. We use giant ruber made toates. All our cats and kiitens use it with no issues. I love that it's safe and non toxic. I'm kind of a clean freak, I always wipe my litter pans with alcohol wipes. Clean all partial from bottom along with any dust that might be there. This keeps the litter clean and lasts longer. I recommend this product especially with kittens.
