Festool 500483 BHC Drilling Dust Nozzle

Excellent tool. Collects nearly all the dust. I can drill indoors with little to no cleanup. If it helps to anybody to know it, this fits my standard Miele vacuum.

I’m really liking this things. The back acts like a vacuum plenum and holds tight. No issues loosing traction on the wall and great capture of dust. Check out the difference.

Very nice tool to have if one can justify buying it for limited use. I used this product on basement cinder block walls that by nature are not completely smooth and it worked without a problem. A must have for any drilling especially in materials containing silica. The design is limited and really isn't "improveable" by the collar which can limit how deep a drill hole can be unless one has a sufficiently long drill bit that doesn't wobble and by limiting precise sighting to begin drilling.

It works as it should, I just dont get why Festool angled dust port for the vacuum. It stays on the wall but if dust port would be pointed straight down it'd be even better. You can't beat the price though. Overall I'm happy with it.

Festool has a reputation of making pricey tools. They can me more expensive than other manufacturers; however, I've never regretted any of my Festool purchases. That aside, this dust nozzle is brillant! After many years of make-shift dust collection devices to use while drilling into drywall, this Festool Drilling Dust Nozzle is a game changer. Worth every penny and wish I'd found this product sooner.

Works exactly as advertised. It will stick tenaciously to whatever you are drilling, even rough-textured concrete. It collects virtually all the dust. If you drill all the way through something, some will fall out the other side. In all likelihood that other side is inside a wall cavity, so who cares. It's designed to fit Festool D27 hoses, but I think the angle adapter (shown on it in the product photo) will fit other sizes too. It will also work with the popular Bosch 27mm dust hose, though the dimensions are slightly different, and it's a little tighter than the Festool. My only complaint is that forcing the vacuum's air through such a small port means that this is a very loud tool.

While this was advertised as a dust control method for drilling concrete, I use it in my carpentry business for drilling holes in drywall in customers homes. It uses the suction from your vaccuum to hold itself to the wall without leaving marks and sucks all the dust into the vaccuum as you drill. Essential tool for the tradesmen striving to project a clean professional image.

C'est sans doute le meilleur achat pour moi cette année. Il est vraiment ultra efficace ! Petit, mais tellement pratique, il suffit d'avoir un bon aspirateur, ça tient sur le mur comme au plafond. Avec mon aspirateur, j'ai zéro poussière, un bonheur ! En même temps c'est du Festool ! Ça tient la route.

Ich nutze die Festool-Bohrstaubdüse mittlerweile seit 7,5 Jahren im eigenen Haus/Keller und wenn ich aushelfe. In Verbindung mit dem Kärcher-Nasssauger (etwa 1200 Watt) - wird bei jeder Bohrung das Bohrmehl sauber abgesaugt, an der Wand-Decke etc. Oberflächen bleiben keine Spuren zurück. Das Gummi (was an der Oberfläche aufliegt) - ist auch nach über 7 Jahren - weder klebrig noch bröselt es auseinander (Aufbewahrung im Keller, also schon Licht- und Temperatur recht gut). Wenn Unterdruck da ist (also am Sauger angeschlossen) - dann hält die Düse bestens an der Oberfläche - auch auf der Rauhfaser/Tapeten. Ist auf jeden Fall jeden Cent wert. Düse lässt sich auch zerlegen und bei Bedarf z.B. ausspülen oder reinigen. Kann die Düse nur empfehlen, das Geld ist hier bestens investiert.
