Very comfortable for a very uncomfortable situation
This thing is amazing! It’s extremely comfortable. It doesn’t dig into your neck. It is versatile for one side or the other. It supports everything including your thumb. I tore out the tendons and muscles between my shoulder and my bicep. It is keeping everything stable. Especially having a strap that goes around your back to keep your arm from moving forward. I drive for a living and other than trying to put my seatbelt on. I have no problems whatsoever. It was worth every dime. Also I live in Florida so it is quite warm, but I bought the non-ventilated one and I like it much better. It’s still breathable and more comfortable because it has a padding in it.

Super Comfortable!
But this, for my sister after she broke her arm in three places. The sling they sent her home with after surgery was cutting into her neck and very uncomfortable. We got this the next day and it made the world of difference for her. Take your time putting it on until you get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s perfect and super comfortable.

Breathable sling
The arm sling arrived this morning, I also purchased a support system online, it arrived two days ago, Amazon wanted at least one week for one of their vendors to ship one to our home. With a severe right shoulder injury, time was a major concern; thanks Jeffrey-boy for your promised one to two day delivery!😡 The shoulder support system still allowed movement of my shoulder, very painful and very little sleep for three nights. But, I am already feeling better with my shoulder, I still believe it will take time to heal, so I am taking it slow, giving it time to mend. I got the cool breathable sling since temperatures are starting to heat up. Four stars since waist strap needs more length, but not needed.

a REALLY GOOD SLING FOR A GREAT PRICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.
This sling is a great product, and the price is very reasonable. I BROKE MY SHOULDER AND HAD TO HAVE SURGERY. i have 3 other slings, one was over S100.00 that I got from the ortho dr. This sling is so much better, and it doesn't cut into your neck. I like that it comes up higher above my elbow for good support. The best sling for your money. others that are comparable can sell for over $150. 00! being I will be wearing this for a few more months, I'm happy I CHOOSE TO GO WITH THIS ONE..

Very difficult to adjust to left shoulder; needs chest wrap
4 stars for immobilization of shoulder for broken collar bone. I had to add a wide velcro strap from another sling by this same company in order to totally immobilize. Unfortunately the sling that came with the wrap put a strap across the injured shoulder so it was a no go. With the wide strap I have 5 stars immobility.1 star for not selling the wide chest wrap separately so I did not have to buy 2 full slings to get the relief I needed.1 star for adjusting it to fit left arm. It took more than an hour for my friend to go through instructions multiple times until we got it mostly right. I still have a twist over my right shoulder but I could not bear the pain of taking the sling off AGAIN to fix it. Maybe tomorrow. I have now found a similar sling from another company that sells a left arm sling. Wish I had bought that one.1 star for adjustability after getting it on when in left arm mode. All the adjust straps are now next to my body and very difficult and painful to reach. Now that I have it mostly right and with the chest wrap snug, I would give it 5 stars for immobilizing my shoulder and arm in a no-pain position.1 star for “value for the money” since I had to buy 2 slings in order to get the chest wrap for this one.

Dislocated shoulder! Wonderful buy.
I recently dislocated my shoulder and needed something comfortable and supportive to help me heal. This arm sling was perfect! It’s lightweight but sturdy, easy to put on and adjust by myself, and it doesn’t dig into my neck like some others I’ve tried in the past. The breathable fabric made it comfortable to wear all day without overheating. It gave me the support I needed while still allowing some mobility. Definitely recommend for anyone dealing with a shoulder injury—worth every penny!

Five stars except...
This review is for the breathable version. Purchased for a broken clavicle and turns out to be far superior to the braces we got at the ER, then the ortho's office and then the pharmacy, once you figure out how to get it on, that is. I would be giving it five stars except for a few minor issues. First of all, the instructions say (and the videos show) that it can be put on without assistance, to which I respond a hearty HA! Don't think about putting this on without help if you have a shoulder injury more serious that just a mild strain! Secondly, the straps on the elbow end of the sling we received were in a very different location than the illustrations in the instructions, which left us briefly puzzled but not so much that we didn't eventually unpuzzle ourselves. And lastly, as is often the case, the Velcro is both a blessing and a misery. It certainly provides a secure fit but because of multiple anchor points, is a pesky hindrance when putting on the sling and just another reason why putting this on solo is best not attempted. But overall, good design and great support. It's been worn now for about two weeks and the shoulder strap does seem to have stretched very slightly--still many weeks to go before full recovery so I will update when we are done using it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this sling. Edit: Performed well as long as was needed. Hopefully, it can now be permanently retired!
