Exactly as expected
Almost 15 years ago, we received a few sets of this china at our wedding. Since then, its always been out of stock or overly expensive, so we've never been able to get any more. We bought this and were surprised to find it was a perfect match, the same quality, and a great price.

Almost matches!
The china is exactly like the rest of our set with the exception that it is "white" really white, the other place settings that we own are off white. We did not realize that there were shades of white. In any event, the place settings are of excellent quality and a near perfect match.

Lovely bone china place setting from Lenox
This Lenox place setting for one, in the Lenox "Solitaire" pattern, is extremely understated and elegant. It consists of a cup and saucer, a butter plate, a salad plate, and a dinner plate. The trim has been hand-painted. You can see the artisans' marks on the back of two of my photos. One's mark is red, and one's mark is blue. I actually wouldn't recommend using a dishwasher with any sort of regularity (even though they say you can) because of the hand-painted trim.I love the dimensionality of the tiered edges of this pattern. I tried to take a close up photo of one of the edges so you could get an idea. It gives a lot of vibrance to this pattern, even though "Solitaire" is low key in its colors. This pattern would look very beautiful with any sort of silverware and glasses. either modern or old-fashioned.Bone china is different from porcelain and originally came primarily from one area in England. It has a creamy color to it, as opposed to the blueish tone of porcelain. If you think of your taste as being refined and understated, choose this pattern and you can't go wrong.I like it just because I love beautiful china (and used to sell it in a store). Something as lovely as the Lenox "Solitaire" pattern will never go out of fashion.
