We bought these to go with heating lights in our chicken coop. They work perfectly and are durable and are long enough to hang in different angles. Easy as plugging in and screwing in included hook. We used some additional hanging hardware because of our usage but that wouldn’t be necessary for many uses. I could see them being used in a lot of different ways for decorative purposes too.

The extension hanging fixture worked great I needed it to go inside of one of my Kings in my nativity scene. Did the job.

Overall I'd say that this is a good item. Not sure how well the switches will hold up long term. They seem kind of cheaply made. The cords are nice...long and they do seem well made. Will see how the switches do over time. Good product that I'll be using for extra lighting around my backyard shop.

This product worked great for me. Just what I needed. I bought this originally because I saw in one of the Q&A's that it was possible to disassemble it (to feed the cord through a hole for example), but when it arrived I realized it really didn't come apart all the way. I contacted the seller and asked if it was possible, and they got back to me really quickly! They told me that it was not made to be disassembled all the way (like all the way down to disconnecting the wires from the socket), and advised me that they do not recommend people try since it could damage the unit unintentionally, however, they did give me instructions to try if I wanted to go ahead and try to disassemble it. I needed to feed the cord through a small hole in a lamp I was building, so I did give it a try. It worked great - the instructions they provided were clear and helpful, and I am grateful they took the time to help me, even though they generally don't recommend people disassemble the unit. They could have just told me to return it and get a different one. Or they could have told me "tough luck" but they didn't and I appreciate that! Some reviews mention that the switch is too close to the socket, but I find it's a perfect distance for a desk lamp or something similar. If you watch the video from the seller, it explains there are two versions of this product - one with the switch close to the wall, and one with the switch close to the socket.

The simplest, most versatile way imaginable of 'making light'. The cord itself is nice and pliable-flexible (not stiff and awkward like some electrical cables...). It has a nice rocker-switch, which I much prefer compared to the thumb-wheel kind found on some lamp cords. The socket and plug-in-end look rugged and robust. Screw in an A-21 14-watt LED bulb and you can have plenty of light pretty well anywhere you'd want it.

I used it to hang my growing bulb above my plants. Worked perfectly. I'm using a timer but if I would have to turn it off/on everyday the switch would be a bit too high. Would be nice if it would be closer to the bulb. But in my case it doesn't bother me.

I bought this 12ft extension hanging cord a few weeks ago and after using it for no more than 5 minutes, it stopped working. I literally plugged in in once to test it out, it worked, I turned it off and tried turning it on again a few minutes later and nothing. Thankfully this happened within the first use because if this had happened a week or 2 weeks later, it would've meant the death for the plants I'm trying to grow with it. UPDATE: I changed this review to 3 stars because of the support recieved for my faulty product. After I contacted the seller to let them know that the item was faulty, they acted very quickly to replace it and sent out another one free of charge ASAP. I had the replacement within a week. I'm still unimpressed by the first one not working but I haven't had any problems with the replacement and I was happy with their customer service.

Great price - the length is also wonderful (enough to swag the cord and run it down a wall to a nearby wall plug, but it also comes with the little j hooks and plastic holders for the cord. I love the fact that it's black! I love being able to have a black cord for my dark walls in my room - I loathed those glaring white Ikea lamp cords!
