My wife and I needed some reef-safe sunscreen for a recent Caribbean trip and I bought this Amazon brand to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised how easily this lotion applied without the sliminess or stickiness that some other reef-safe sunscreens have. It soaks in quickly and we didn't get sunburn, so I count this as a great product, especially for the low price!

I believe it is equal to the name brands It is 50 SPF Sun Protection Factor so it offers strong UV A and UV B protection which are the 2 ranges of sun rays that do the skin damage and burning. It is an easily absorbed lotion that when rubbed goes into the skin and is not visible. It is thick and goes on with a non shiny, non greasy, solid thick feeling which is what we need for it to stay on as long as possible. It feels good after being rubbed in in that it feels dry and not overly greasy or with no shine and sheen. It is a good product and offers burn protection to me in some clear-sky strong sun uses. Reapply after entering the pool water or swimming laps and after an hour (all sunscreen labels say reapply after 80 minutes which I believe is per recommendations of the federal FDA or some medical studies). I reapply often and I still get tanned but I do not want to burn.

Great stuff for winter winter/summer sports - stays on which is good. The best part is that if it gets in your eyes, very little discomfort compared most brands. Most sunscreen, if you happen to get it in your eyes will make you tear up for hours. This is better!

Straight up, I do not use this on my face, only my arms and legs. The texture is thick and takes some effort to rub in, so I don’t want to do that to my face. It can feel a little greasy, especially in hot weather. It also has a typical sunscreen scent that lasts longer than I’d like. I’m not tanking the rating because a lot of sunscreens are like this, and this sunscreen gets the job done for basic sun protection, and it’s cheaper than others. Not terrible, just nothing special. The item shipped and arrived on time and in good condition.

I purchased Amazon’s Solimo Sport Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 30, for my family’s recent trip to the Caribbean and I was very happy with the purchase. My family used this sun screen as our only sunscreen for the whole trip and we were outside in the 100 degree temperatures/direct sun for most of the day and non of us got a burn or really even saw any change to our skin. (We did apply multiple times a day and we are of the fair skin tone variety). The scent of the sun screen is not overpowering and just reminds me of summer. It is easy to rub into your skin (white at first and then it goes away) and doesn’t leave a super greasy feeling afterward but you can feel it on your skin as your would any lotiona. Since we were going to be swimming near coral reefs and just in the ocean in general I was looking for a reef safe sun protection and was pleasantly surprised to see that this product is free of the chemicals that are harmful to the reefs and surrounding sea creatures. I have already purchased another bottle for my family’s trip to Florida this spring and I recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality sunscreen at a price that can’t be beat.
