My Daughter Really Loves Using This For Hiking Or Biking.
My kids and I like to go for walks a lot. Sometimes I like to go alone. Some of my kids also bike ride a lot and having water is important. Let's take a look.WHAT IS THIS LIKE?This hydration pack is well laid out. The bladder inside is in a good spot. It balances well while wearing it. The refill is not hard to do and the design allows for wearing while walking or biking and has room for storage too.HOW DOES IT PERFORM?I had my daughter using this a lot. She loves it so much I hardly got to see it since I got it. What she loves about it is that it feels centered so that the water is not feeling too low, high, or unbalanced. The drinking spout is nice and easy to access whether walking or riding. It clips into place well and is not in the way at all.DOES IT SLOSH AROUND?Another comment she makes about it often is that the water in the pack does not slosh around excessively. She says that it seems to be the perfect balance and set up for her liking.DOES IT GET HOT?She used this on the hot days this summer and it really did not get her excessively hot, as there was some airflow on her back to offset that.SHOULDER STRAPS COMFORTShe also said that the straps on this are very comfortable.ROOM TO STORE?There is enough room for her to tuck in a lightweight packable jacket (very light), her phone and a small tool for her bike when she needs it.THE BOTTOM LINEThis hydration pack is perfect for hiking and biking. It fits well, allows decent airflow, does not leak, and is set up well for balance and weight. My daughter who uses this most said it is also well set up for resting and hanging helmet on if need be. She has another Camelbak for biking that she likes a bit better, but still loves this one too, especially for walking.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This is a hit at our house. It is better than another brand we have had of hydration pack which was sweaty, sloshy, and uncomfortable after a while of wearing it.

Received used product
This backpack is clearly used, no tags attached and had a dirty face mask in the front pocket. It will be returned the same way...absolutely disgusting, especially considering that it has a water reservoir that I am betting was used as well

Great fit, well made, and comfortable
This is a well designed backpack for women. The materials are a mix of nylon, mesh, and some of what feels almost like neoprene. The bladder holds 100 ounces of water which will add 6.25 lbs to whatever you are carrying. Not quite a gallon but great to have in a bug out bag. The outside mesh overflow pocket has a lot of stretch and it is straddled by the trekking pole loops. The loops are also great for carabiners so you can clip gear to them as well. There are 6 loops on each side plus the 2 pole loops at the bottom. The dual wing belt seems bulky at first but it is very comfortable and there is plenty of cushioning as wellness stretch. It is designed to shift weight and feels that way. There is also a zipper pocket on the outer wing belt which is perfect for securing whatever you may need to access quickly without removing the entire pack. The drinking valve is a decent size, almost like a smoothie straw size and there is a leak proof valve on it.The only negatives, for me, are that 1) the plastic ring stake to hold the water bag in place seems cheap compared to the quality of the rest of the bag. I did try to bend it and it seemed relatively solid but a long hike with gear packed inside may prove otherwise. And, 2) the lining colors are light gray. I've come to appreciate brightly colored linings in my backpacks because they help me to find things quickly but also because they just look great. Not a big deal though and overall I would say this is definitely worth the current $150 retail price especially since it is covered by a lifetime guarantee.Made in the Philippines.

Great for Hydration on the Go!
I am 5 ft tall and quite slender. This pack fits me quite well as you are able to make adjustments. The hydration function is great as it is easy to use. I still need to purchase the extras to clean and dry the hydration equipment ( I used paper towels wadded up to dry it out). I took away one star as I am still getting used to the pack and it is not totally comfortable yet. I will edit this review as I use the pack more- especially with different types of clothing (I used it with a sun shirt but have not used it with a jacket or winter coat). At this point I would purchase this pack again.

Can always count on CamelBak
This brand is absolutely the standard when it comes to runnersI used these camelBak's over a decade ago when I used to go hiking multiple times per year. After more than a decade I have gotten into outdoor activities again (now with kids) and have gotten back into using camelBak's.These vests are great in terms of quality, convenience and overall usefulness. We have had great success with these packs (I have 3 different ones now). Now that this pandemic is coming to an end; we will use it for upcoming half marathons and other runs this year. But also during the summer we will use them at the range and race track!Overall I am very satisfied with these packs just as I was more than a decade ago. The quality, fit and finish is great. Water stays reasonably cool for a long period of time.If this review helped you at all; please mark it helpful! Thanks!

Great for long distance walking, running or hiking
I recently took up hiking and had been trying to get the basics down. I would always end up packing way too much water for my hikes. I wouldn't have enough room for much else in my bag. Plus the bottled water really weighed my bag down. I ordered this bag, and it works really well. It is easy to use and drink from. You don't have to stop mid-hike to take water out of your bag. You can just sip as you go. This is a perfect solution for many activities, not just hiking, The bag is easy to clean and surprisingly lightweight. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for an alternative to carrying bottled water on long-distance walking, running, or hiking.
