good tester, poor lead and croc clip. the tester works well with the clip on negative the light shows when you touch positive with the tip of the tool. when you connect the other way round it shows a different colour.great.the clip is very small (max 6 mm) so thats been changed, and the lead would only stretch to 140cm nowhere near190cm, Imade an extension lead with a bigger clip and now it's good.

Nice neat little 12 DC circuit tester. Has an led bulb which apparently works up to 24 volts. Curley lead is too short to work from end to end of a vehicle, as I needed to, but easily sorted with a length of cable and a couple of croc clips, which now sits next to the tester in my tool box. Comes with a spare bulb, which is a bonus, particularly given how inexpensive it is. Just the job for occasional use.

I bought this to test against a Draper item and whilst being the cheaper of the two and 'non-branded' this was far better.Why? two reasons: the buld(LED?) is much brighter so you can use it in bright sun and the coiled cable enables a decent level of stretch without stressing the cable or earth point it's clipped to.Highly recommended

I needed a circuit tester to indentify switched/permanent live fuse connections for hardwiring a dash cam. At this price it was cheap enough to not have to borrow one from elsewhere. Job done and now added to my toolbox as I should’ve done years ago!

Good light of it was quite impressed
