Great for use under flooring!
We bought this as underlayment for a wood flooring project, and we were pretty happy with the quality, the cost, and the results. Cork is a nice material to work with, easy to cut, gentle to walk on, no smells or dust, and while we can't do a compare and contrast on other flooring underlayment as it's the only one we used, we feel like this made the flooring easy to lay and offered some nice sound deadening as well. We also had some leftovers, for which we have found countless uses - lining drawers and shelves, etc.

1/4>>>1/8
If you plan to install this full length and roll it out it's way Easier if you have a Helping hand. Great Product dont Get the 1/8 " version. This 1/4 is way better, higher Quality and easier to Install. Might Order a couple more for future Floors. Great Investment.

This worked out very well for us
This cork underlayment worked out very well for us. It seems to be a great sound barrier for our 9/16” engineered flooring. Each roll is fairly heavy/awkward, but husband was able to manage it quite well and is good with construction projects, so cutting it (with a utility knife) to fit around doors and into closets, even though it is brittle, wasn’t a problem for him. Be sure to vacuum crumbs up if you get them, so they don’t cause problems laying flooring. I would recommend this product.

HIGH QUALITY!! FAST PRIME SHIPPING INCLUDED!!!
THESE ARE AMAZING!!! I am in the process of remodeling my entire home. I wanted to soundproof every room since our children are getting older now, I wanted everyone to be able to have their own quiet and restful place to call their own. I ordered these and when they arrived, I was shocked at how BIG and HEAVY these were! My contractor used them for both under the tile - he laid it directly on the subfloor, and then laid this cork, and then placed Hardy Backer Board down before he tiled, and you could not even hear one footstep in the rooms below!!! This worked out so well, that I ordered more, and my contractor used glue to adhere these to the back of the drywall (while they were laying on the ground) before he put up the drywall. In combination with Rock Wool Insulation, all of our rooms are as soundproof as can be! It is unbelievable that these are included in Prime Shipping! They shipped even shipped them to Hawaii!!! I did a lot of research before ordering these, and I could not be happier with the way these performed! They come in 1 continuous roll, so my contractor could easily cut them to whatever length he was working with. If you are on the fence, don't be! Order them! You will be overly-impressed with the quality! HAPPY!! HAPPY!!

Very nice under hardwood flooring
I bought this to place under hardwood flooring in a second floor condo. Noise is a real issue in condos and I was hoping that this would help to dampen the foot thumping and airborne noise (music, talking, etc). This cork has to be glued to the subfloor, and then the bamboo is glued on top. So, you need to have a solid cork layer with tight seams between pieces. This product comes in rolls. I think it seems very solid. My installers said they prefer the individual 2ft x 3ft sheets, but I think this would be easier to work with because there are fewer seams to deal with.

Great product! Easy!
Glued this down with recommended adhesive, then glued solid bamboo on top. Very pleased with the results. Easy to cut with a utility blade. If you remove base boards prior to rolling this out, make sure you pull all the pesky little nails that held them on with pliers. The nails will catch on the cork as you are unrolling it and tear chunks out of the edges.

Fantastic underpayment for laminate flooring
Fantastic underpayment for laminate flooring; a firm yet comfy feeling underfoot. Combined with Roberts' Cork Adhesive keeps cut Cork from moving and adds a tiny amount of "spring".As a tip when used as an underlayment, cut and lay the cork for fit and let it climatize with a bit of weight (like your flooring package) at the edges to flatten out the roll. When you're ready to glue, pull the cork, sweep for any stray flecks or cork (usually from cutting) and replace the weight. End result will be a smooth, flat surface.
