This is the second one we have bought. After less than a year the first one just stopped working. Unfortunately our cats adore it and didn’t have any interest in the other one I bought for them 🙄 let’s hope this one lasts longer!

I brought this item for our 2 kittens. They weren't as interested as I thought they would be. The unit is quite noisy and this seems to distract them and they are more interested in getting that to see what it is. They also dont seem that impressed with something that they cant actually catch and hold. Also I've only had it a couple of days and may need to return it as the 2nd program that is supposed to last a few hours with intermittent light doesn't seem to be working. Without this facility i may aswell get a laser pen for £5 and use myself for 10 mins. It requires 3 batteries which arent included. Generally I think it's overpriced.

The media could not be loaded. One of my cats took to this instantly and it has become her favourite toy. Runs for about 10 mins or so and auto turns off. Emit small beam of red light and moves it in natural and seemingly random patterns. Depending on where you position and angle it, the area of the beams pattern can be made larger or smaller. Recommended

I've held off buying any form of laser toy for my cats having read and seen some of the negative impact of these. I thought I would buy this one as something they could play with together, coming from a well known pet supplier, I was also more enthused by its use of AAA batteries as opposed to the small pill style ones.Worth noting my cats played with this 1ce a day, no more! So 15 minutes a day for one week. I've now had to cover over every standby button in my house as both of my cats won't engage or play with me or each other and want to stare at any red dot instead.I stopped them playing with this a day or so ago and they are coming round however continued use I feel would not be a healthy stimulus. If you haven't looked into laser pens and OCD in cats, do so before purchasing anything like this!Avoid this and get something that doesn't involve prey the cat can never catch and the potential for increased bad behaviour and psychological problems!I'm putting this in the bin and going back to something they can catch and chase!

Cat loves play time .

The media could not be loaded. Stopped working after a week. Changed battery and nothing the cats are so disappointed.Returned mine and get a new one and same thing keeps happening bought brand new battery and it switches itself off after two mins or so. Annoying

Used it quite a few times now, still working perfectly. My cat absolutely loves it and knows what's going to happen when I get it out, he sits waiting until I press the button! My dog even joins in when he gets a chance!

We got this really clever 7 year old kitty that's really fussy when it comes to toys, she gets her head arround them quite quickly and gets bored with it as soon as. But this toy seems to bring her a lot of pleasure she meows at the dot runs arround chasing it or just sits and stares at it when gets tired of chasing :) The toy looks sturdy, great design, is not massive fits in the hand and has a small lead attached to it so that you could hang it whenever you want. The only small minus that it makes sound when rotating the laser beam which was putting our cat off at first but now she's ok with it. So all together we're puuuurrfffeectly happy x)
