7KG Modification Upgrade spring For Nerf N-strike Elite Retaliator by WORKER

Unlike most spring upgrades where you only get the spring and nothing else, this one's is a true "kit" for the retaliator and includes o-rings upgraded catch spring buffer pads and lubricant to really give your retaliator a new lease on life. It's like a whole new blaster!!!

Holy crap, this thing is a nail driver now. I just warned my office competition that they'd better start wearing eye protection, because I cannot be held responsible for someone losing an eye. Again. Why is a 35-year old man running around shooting people with a NERF gun? Because I literally have nothing else to do in COVID quarantine while deployed.This wasn't the easiest thing to put together, and the instructions someone posted here help but aren't detailed enough (Can't zoom in). What happens when this spring pops off? What are all these leftover parts for? How is this thing supposed to line up with this thingymajig? It still took me almost 2 hours to put together. Now that it's done, I've got 3 more guys wanting to upgrade theirs. Game on, goons.

First there are absolutely no instructions included with the kit.Although its true, that after doing some research on the internet I was able to figure out where each part was supposed to go, it would have been nicer if they included that information with the kit.But that in itself wouldn't have warranted a 1 star rating...The reason for the 1 star rating is that I bought two of these kits to install in a retaliator and a recon mk2.I installed one of the kits in the retaliator and it would not prime at all... I think the spring is too long or something and it isn't allowing the plunger to pull back all the way to the catch.I tried the spring from the other kit... same problem... I can only assume that for some reason the springs weren't the right size...I thought maybe the issue was the strength of the spring, I had a 10KG retaliator spring so i decided to try that out, and I was able to prime that one, so I can only conclude that the 7kg spring included in the kit does not fit my retaliator properly, and its preventing the gun to prime...

I was able to shoot a dart seriously though my entire house. When you cock the retaliator the first time, you know the spring is serious.

Didn't work. 3 stars for the other parts. Firing spring would not work. Upgraded to metal catch, trimmed the spring, trimmed the ribs in the body & got nothing. Will not prime. Tried it in a Cycloneshock & got it to fire maybe 5 times before it quit. Was fun in there for a minute. Was blowing holes through Styrofoam

This spring is insane. I'm not sure about the rest of the parts in this kit as I'm only using the spring along with both stage 1 and 2 kits from OMW.

Purchased this for use in a Recon MkII as I'd read that it would be compatible, and it was. Once the product was installed correctly, it functioned in accordance with my expectations of it. However, including the instructions for assembly with the product or on this seller page would have been helpful, as I had to track down the instructions elsewhere. In addition, the instructions were not particularly clear, and following one step that had been directed resulted in the product malfunctioning. I've read that installing the small, narrow rubbery pieces that push the plunger tube back also cause the spring to work incorrectly in the Retaliator, so this was not an issue of installing the spring into the Recon MkII. Leaving those pieces out led to the spring working correctly in the blaster.
