I bought this refurbed, was a lot cheaper. Works fine on Dolce Gusto and Nespresso, and I also tried with some Lavazza ground espresso coffee.I also am using it with my Senseo pods- with a work-around. Inside the ground coffee holder is a typical large espresso basket/filter. I take that out and replace it with the smaller one-cup basket from an old Mr Coffee espresso machine I have. Same diameter, not as tall. I stuff the senseo pod in there, it fits. Little tight, but the lever latches fine. Not bad.

This is basically the same as the HiBrew coffee maker, but a few bucks cheaper. It appears to put out how water than the HiBrew. I've used it with Nespresso pods, as well as regular ground coffee both in the provided standard ground coffee holder, as well as in an I-Cafilas adapter for their Dolce Gusto pod holder.All the methods produce good espresso with nice, thick crema on top. There's not much coffee in those tiny Nespresso pods, so I wouldn't recommend those for anything other than the single shot setting. The ground coffee holder will contain two level scoops of coffee, which is good enough for the double shot setting, or a really strong single shot.It's a 19bar espresso maker for less than the price of Nespresso machines, with much more flexibility than those single style machines.Update: This one is used in my office, with about half a dozen people using it frequently mostly with L'Or Nespresso pods. I use it for a mix of caffeinated Nespresso pods, and for ground decaf in the 'real coffee' dispenser. With this heavy usage, it is still going strong after about 9 months.

I bought this as a last resort for a Dolce Gusto coffee machine given the current lack of availability in the market. All I was expecting was bare minimum functionality, and I didn't even get that. The machine has two settings, supposedly one for single shot and the other for large drinks, but the second option is basically a double shot. Having lattes or something with milk/cream results in having to re-push the large cup option which is absolutely inconvenient. I could have probably lived with that inconvenience if the machine operated efficiently enough, but it doesn't even do that. The Dolce Gusto adapter isn't designed properly so it doesn't fit right, which means with every capsule you will insert you will have to push it extremely hard for it to lock in place. Taking the capsule out is an even worse experience for two reasons.1. You have to remove the drain grill thing to fit a standard sized mug, and it barely fits even when you remove it. As a result, you have to remove the mug before you eject the capsule.2. When you attempt to eject, because the fitment of the adapter isn't right, the capsule will likely squirt out liquid which is a different kind of hazard that warrants redesigning of the entire machine.The first time (and last) I tried this machine, I didn't remove the mug at first thinking I should have some clearance to swap out the milk and coffee capsules, but even that is apparently too high of expectation for such a poorly designed machine. I ended up spilling milk all over the countertop because the capsule was stuck AND it didn't have the right clearance for a standard coffee mug. Needless to say, I will be returning this machine, and I would rather get a used Delonghi machine than having to deal with this. Even the other offering on Amazon (Mixpresso Dolce Gusto Machine) is equally bad in terms of size design and I had to cut the grill compartment all together to fit a standard sized mug. I could have done this with this machine, but I don't want to go through the trouble let alone suffer with later potential issues, especially at this price range for the machine $90-100 compared to $60-70 for the other offering.

Love that it has multiple accessories to accommodate different pods. Not as good as my Dolce Gusto because the coffee isn't as frothy. However, it's still a good machine, reliable AND has a much better price than the euro machines!

I returned the product to amazon because it did not work.

My motor was blown on my old Nespresso and I debated if I even wanted a new one since I drink a lot of espresso and it gets expensive. So I like that this has the option to use your own grinds. So far I’ve only tried the capsule and while I did realize before buying that you have to pull every single capsule, I didn’t realize the attachment would hold and dump so much water everywhere. I can’t seem to find a way to grip it without making a giant mess. Also, I’m so peeved every model puts the water tank on the back since running it without water is what blows the motor. The design is awkward and materials are cheap but it’s versatile and it doesn’t burn my pods like the old one did.Update after 1 year: The Nespresso attachment stopped working. it's not piercing the pods, just heating them up and burning the coffee inside. I bought some Dulce Gusto pods to test the rest of the machine and that attachment works fine. No idea why the Nespresso doesn't work because I had unplugged the entire machine and didn't even use it for 3-4 months when I quit coffee completely after having nausea and vertigo so bad I tried everything I could think of before it was finally diagnosed as vestibular migraines. The Nespresso attachment was in the machine and just sitting there, so I can't imagine it could have gotten damaged. Very disappointed I didn't even get through an entire order of pods (I order 100 at a time) with this thing. I'd estimate I had used about 80.

I love this Nespresso maker it's also good for dolce capsules vidas Cafe those are going out I believe they're hard to find the capsules but Nespresso capsules are very easy to find so this is a great item the price is fantastic.I love that I can also make regular espresso with the ground espresso coffee .. very easy to use. Love this item .. I wanted to buy a virtuo but I'm I am using the fridgidair for now and I its so small Fantastic for small spaces i love the water canister holder I have not had any issues with it.. it's a 5 outta 5

I like the ease of use and the look of it!

One of my favourite features is the attachment that allows me to use my own coffee. Saves the environment and costs.

I am very happy with this little coffee maker so far after a week of continuous use. Coffee is very consistent with a nice brownish crema that tastes even better than the one from my Breville expresso machine. Let's hope it will last a long time, like my old Breville (+10 years).
