As someone who is a bit more technically inclined than your average person this product is very good. Anyone who says the mouse input is delayed are wrong, you just need to change your controller dead zones in game to get a better feel. This product works very well as advertised and has extremely seamless integration when using MNK on console. Not to mention all the forums and support for this device.

Cronus zen came all the way across the United States to my location in just the manufacturing package. Looked beat and banged up when it arrived on my doorstep. Tried using this device and it displays error code: Bootloader E3001With flashing red lights. Cronus support had a step by step guid for this code but unfortunately i tried it multiple times and the device just won’t reset itself. Reached out to collectives minds because there is a 30 day date of purchase warranty card in with the device box to try and get and exchange for a working one, they then told me cant do anything since it was bought 3rd party through this seller on Amazon, they sent me to the Cronus shop where chat support is completely automated and you can’t talk to any real people. Been trying to get a device that works but the vendor that sold me this one hasn’t responded. I don't even know about it to even rate. I guess 1 star.Thumbs down for not shipping in a protective box.

I've read and watched videos talking about the Chronus Zen how it's used by the pros. I've heard mixed reviews that range from this being useless to it being a game changer, so I finally purchased it. I'll first off state, I'm no serious gamer and I really only play one multiplayer game, which is Battlefront 2 on PS4. I've played since it's release and I mainly play Blast because there are no overpowered characters to hoard, just 8 player teams. I'm a decent player using just the standard controller. I make the top 5 player board the majority of games. As of late, I started noticing players that seemed a little too good, pulling off impossible shots with crazy accuracy with weapons that had serious recoil baked in. Others were super agile and difficult to hit. Then I started to see players join as teams where they were all these super players and I started to get really annoyed. At first, I told myself, I'm a purist and would never stoop to cheating to gain an advantage but over time it wore on me and I wanted to see what the fuss was about.Chronus has an excellent video on YouTube that literally walks you through setting it up. It's a little tricky and unconventional to set up and you'll definitely need to read the instructions. It's not difficult just not intuitive. There are a couple of steps where you'll need to rollback the current firmware to the original before upgrading to the latest beta release which the instructions state will throw an error, ignore it and you're done...weird... kind of sloppy coding but ok. Next, you'll need to install the Zen Studio which connects you to the Zen's script repository and compiler. There are a few different types of scripts. The Zen Pro scripts written in house and the community repository. I found several scripts for BF2... To be honest all were kind of trash, poorly written except the pro script and even that wasn't perfect. Most scripts I tried caused issues during gameplay causing the controller to do weird things during gameplay. Using the pro scripts for example, mid-game my character would get stuck jumping over and over for no reason. Other times, my zoom ability wouldn't work or certain characters, secondary fire would fire when I used the trigger button. I'm sure it's like due to settings that need to be adjusted but it was annoying enough for me to disable a lot of things. The biggest let downs are auto-aim and anti-recoil which for me impeded my style of gameplay quite a bit. So I really only used auto-run and hair triggers settings. I could go on but I'll parrot what others have said, if you suck, this won't help you not suck. It offers a few conveniences but nothing that will truly improve your game. I can't speak for other games but for the one I play, my kill count actually went down while adjusting. Plus I connected to the device wirelessly and there is a noticable lag at times. It's fun to tinker and experiment with but if you're hoping to run with the big boys save your money. I also purchased the PS4 back button attachment and that alone made more of a difference than this. I would suggest starting there first before shelling out cash for this. I almost bought a scuf but the back button did the same thing and was much cheaper. If anything changes, I'll update this review but for now, I'm slightly disappointed. You get very little for the money.
