Great for creative applications as well as fixing bisque!
This stuff is fantastic. Follow the directions carefully and it will work great to patch together broken bisque. I used it to stick small figurines to the inside of mugs before glazing (like a small whale figurine on the inside of a cup painted like the ocean), and had absolutely no issues with the figurines breaking off. If you're looking to use this for that purpose, it's a great choice. I also used it to re-attach a handle of a mug and no one could tell the difference once I was done and the piece was glazed (the handle was shaped like an octopus tentacle, so it had some texture to begin with). Because it's somewhat gritty, it would pretty much be impossible to put together a broken cup or piece perfectly - although it would work if you REALLY wanted said cup to be put back together, but don't expect it to look just like new again.

GREAT -- but, not the delivery package!
As others in reviews have noted, Amazon sends this in a manila bubble wrap envelop. If the post office drops it, the hard plastic jar will break and spill all the contents inside & outside the envelop. That's what happened with my first order. They sent a replacement and it was packaged the same; however, this time it wasn't broken. This stuff DOES WORK! I've mended greenware and bisque-fired pottery. It's amazing stuff and others in my pottery club have fixed their broken pieces with it. Best product I've found that actually works! You do need to fire or re-fire prior to glazing, but that hasn't been an issue for me or anyone else who I know who has used this product. Amazon should send this in a small box with some bubble wrap to ensure the container isn't smashed by the post office before it arrives!

Arrived ruined and dried out
This arrived completely dried out and solid. It’s not even usable after it dries out. Waste of money and waste of time spent waiting for it to arrive. I will be returning. Super disappointed. 😔

Pricy, but it works fantastic for bonding raw and fired clay!
I create tiny sculpts that have small pieces and have always struggled with getting the parts to bond together. I tried slip but never had much success with it, when the piece would reach bone dryness often the parts would separate again. I asked my local ceramic store for a suggestion and they recommended this product. And it works REALLY well! I always use this to bond parts together now while I'm working with raw clay. In the rare event I have a part fall off in firing, I use this to re-bond the parts before the final glaze firing. After it dries it takes underglaze just like the clay does. I've used it to glue parts back on, painted it with underglaze, applied clear glaze over it all and then fired in the glaze fire and it comes out looking like the part never came off. I will never be without a jar of this on my workspace!

Excellent product for the correct applications
Think of this more as glue than sparkle. It can stick stuff on if it fell off in the kiln, but I don't recommend it for patching cracks, especially if you plan to do a glaze firing. Slightly difficult to use as well since it dries very quickly. Be advised: it comes out shockingly white after firing.

It WORKS!
It worked!! I had a pretty big crack in a face when it came out of the kiln. You could stick a dime through the crack that’s how big it was. You could hardly see it after I used this product.

Not a good experience!
Do not recomend buying this product from Amazon! I received the first one, hard as a rock. Amazon quickly replaced with another, also hard as a rock. It is a very sensitive product and requires special handling, cannot freeze or be exposed to air or it gets hard and is not useable. Had to return. Amaco is a great company, it's a good product. I recommend you buy from a ceramic dealer who knows how to store and keep this product. I posted on FB Amaco site and received 43 comments the same results from Amazon. Could be storage facility or delivery trucks where it is freezing. Call Amaco and find out where you can buy new batch close to you, should be a creamy paste you can stir. There are lots of youtube videos on how to use and store this product.
