SpeedoUnisex-Child Swim Goggles Vanquisher 2.0 Junior

My son has been using these goggles for about 2 years now. He was 5 yrs old when we bought them. He mostly used them for swimming class. He does use them outside of class but we don't go to the pool often. These are perfect for his long lashes. His lashes would always get stuck on the lens with the other brands we tried (frogglez was one of them) and he would constantly have to fix them. These goggles solved that problem. Con: the strap does break easily. This is our second pair because I broke the first one. I bought another pair not knowing you can purchase a replacement strap. I'm glad I did though because he had the black goggles which have a gray lens and are too dark for indoor swimming. The clear lens goggles are perfect for indoor swimming.

My kiddo wore these during one of her swim meets. Right when she dove into the water, the middle nose section came apart, the goggles fell off her face, and it shocked her so much that she accidentally messed up and was disqualified. She cried because it’s an event she normally scores in and knows that had her goggles not broken from the start, she wouldn’t have messed up. We spoke of things just happening that we can’t control, but she for sure will never use these again.Moral of the story: Do not buy these if you’re considering them for a kid on a swim team.

We’re a Vanquisher household. My 2 younger kids use the child’s ones and they work great. Easy enough for them to adjust.

Over time the film started to come off and we were not happy with the quality

The best goggles that we’ve come across. Fit well and provide clear vision. Been using for several years.

Great googles. My daughter uses all the time and has helped her with more consistent swimming as it prevents water leaks and fog. She also has a lot of hair and wears a big cap so the adjustable straps come in handy. I wish it came with a case to store it as we had to improvise one to avoid damage.

I’m honestly shocked I’m writing a bad review for these goggles. I have a pair of the adult version of these goggles and have never had an issue. While these goggles would have been awesome for my child to use during her summer league swim meet, the nose piece will not stay attached regardless of which piece is used. It was so unreliable that the goggles came apart right as my child was getting ready to race.
