Good but ...
It has grown very tiresome seeing the “F” word used in books where it has no place. I was interested in this book until I ran across the first use of it. There is no place for it in a book of this sort. Such a shame because otherwise it appears to be lovely, informative & well written.

Great Book for Understanding Cheese
Beautiful book! The author's voice is very accessible and I felt like I was learning something even though my husband used to work at a cheese company. Very useful guide for assembling a plate for guests or just shopping at the market. Would make a really nice holiday gift for a cheese-lover.

Great book for people who are intimidated standing in front of a cheese counter
Ready to explore new cheeses? For people who are interested in trying cheese beyond mozzarella or cheddar, this book explains how to communicate with your local cheesemonger. Standing at a case that may have 100 or more cheeses can be intimidating. The language of cheese is precise and the best way to expand your palate is to talk with cheese experts (called cheesemongers). You'll find them friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable, even if you have never been to a cheese shop. They love their work and are eager to help. Anne Saxelby writes in Rule #1, "Cheesemongers are experts---they are the sommeliers of the cheese world." (Publisher: Ten Speed Press)

There’s more to cheese than one would think
This book was very informative, while being down to earth humorous, about all manner of topics related to cheese. Quick read
