Worst knives I’ve ever used
We had a very similar large knife by this company that was an Ever Sharp serrated blade. It lasted about a decade and was still sharp. The handle finally gave way, so I tried to find something similar to replace it. This set was a huge let-down. Not at all sharp right out of the package. Instead of “ever sharp,” these were “never sharp”! What a waste of money.

Great value - Study and Sharp
Overall this is an excellent product at a great value. The knives are well made and sharp.. I have a Cutco collection and while these are not Cutco, they are great for everyday use and inexpensive.

Never needs sharpening
I have to admit I wondered what these would be like. I'm used to much more expensive knives but I really like this set and can see why they won't need sharpening. The blades each have serration to them and are very, very sharp. Really like this small set for summer RVing.

Poor Quality
When I started using the set, the knives came out of the package razor sharp and was a joy to use. But continuous use has caused the blades to cut through foods on an angle. An example, if I push the knife through an apple, instead of going through it straight down, the blade pulls to the right. This is good if you want to cut wedges. The blade feels razor sharp on one side and the other side feels less sharp. My big Henckel a 10 inch chefs' knife is roughly 45 years old, and although I have to sharpen it once and a while, it now cuts better than the new one. I do not recommend this product and would never buy it again. Also I'm done with Henckel.

Good set of knives, but not perfect for daily tasks
First of all, you should bear in mind that the largest chef knife has a special razor which by design doesn't require sharpening at all. Frankly, I would prefer the regular one and sharpen it manually from time to time, because after a couple of months using it daily I already feel a lack of sharpness.Remaining knives supposed to handle bread and the rest of the things you cut, like vegetables, are quite useless, they are just too small. Eventually I've had to buy another chef knife, cheap and simple, and use it as all-purpose one.On the positive side - no signs on rust so far on any of those knives included in the set.
