After searching high and low for a sandal soft and supportive enough to let me walk pain-free, I discovered these. I have actually had a podiatrist tell me NOT to walk because I have arthritis in my feet, bone spurs, and plantar fasciitis. As if that weren't enough, I am also considerably overweight and have that old lady swollen feet and ankles thing going on. I wanted to start taking walks but had to have something I could just slip my feet into--no bending down and struggling to get my feet into a closed shoe while my pants cut off my oxygen supply. These sandals are perfect. They are soft and bouncy, have excellent arch support, and the "leather" is so soft that it doesn't cause even my baby skin to develop sores. And the anti-gravity feature isn't just an advertising scheme. These things actually make me feel as if I weigh less, as if gravity isn't quite as bad an enemy as usual. If you have problem feet, I don't think you would regret giving these sandals a try.

Style is good, great house shoe, they are comfortable!! True to size, I think great value for money! I don’t think they are slippery , I will buy another color for travel!!

These shoes are cute and very comfortable. The arch is just right and it keeps your heel a bit supported. Plantar faciitis doesn’t bother me with these. They are lightweight and the buckles provide any necessary adjustment.The one drawback is I have been wearing these for a week and the color is cracking in places- will probably flake off eventually. Others have mentioned this problem, but I hoped mine would be ok. They were around $25 on Amazon so I will keep them. In their catalog they are $60. That would be unacceptable for color-flaking sandals.

I was so excited to wear G-Defy sandals that I ignored the other reviews stating the color peels. I assumed maybe they wore their sandals hard or scratched them on something. Well I ordered 4 pairs, different colors and only received them a week ago. I have only wore these-gently used-did not run up against anything- for a very short time. Super comfortable and good looking but I was horrified yesterday when I saw the color peel! Looks horrible-I can’t wear them out anymore. I tried to return them but G-Defy only accepts them back in their original packaging-which I don’t have since I was so sure they were a keeper, that I threw the show boxes in my recycle bin last trash day. So now I have 4 pair and I am out of over $100 (they were on sale for $24-now I know why). I am sure the other three pair will peel too since these did after only short term use. I will not disregard the reviews ever again! I am surprised at G-defy putting out such poor quality. I wear their sneakers-have 4 pair-and they are top quality and have worn well. Definitely don’t buy these sandals.

I put these on as soon as they arrived. Just want to say "WOW" and "YUMMY". So soft and cushy. The heel and arch support are great and fits me perfect. I need to walk around a little more in the house and make sure they are comfortable, but as of the initial feel, I like them. I have real problems on my left foot with a ugly bunion, arthritis in my toes, bone spur on top of my foot and flat feet. I must have shoes that do not put pressure on the top of my foot as well as excellent arch support. I hope these hold up and continue to be comfy.

***I’m sad to report that the color flakes off of the sandals with minimal wear. I use these as house shoes. I was investigating supportive slides at the second half of my pregnancy when I started feeling back pain. These sandals are very comfortable! I feel support and a lot of my pain has been mitigated by wearing these in the house.***After 1 month: purple upper color is flaking off of the outside and inside of the sandal. I expect them to continue to flake at wear points.***Sizing: I measure a true 10. I ordered a 10 and an 11 to try. 10 barely fits and 11 was silly.***Returns: the packaging requests that you return directly through GDefy with their FedEx label. I followed their guidance and have had a bad time with getting my money back. Their Amazon specific department is slow. If you need to return, use Amazon directly.***I was considering OOFOS because they’re available in stores in my area. I wish I stuck with something that I could try on in the store.

I have a few problems with my feet, especially a large bunion on my left foot and a smaller one on my right, therefore requiring me to get shoes wide enough to accommodate those nasties. During summer, I like to wear sandals but so many of them hit my bunions at the wrong point and either irritate the skin or leave them hanging out for all to see. I also have arthritis in my knees and like to have some cushioning in my shoes. These very casual sandals allow me to have the look and feel of sandals without feeling self conscious or hurting. I've had the aqua pair for 2 years, and I got the orange pair last year. They have held up pretty well, maybe some of the coloring getting a little rubbed off but I wear them around the house and in the yard. The newly purchased purple pair I save for actually leaving the house- they look fresh. Another positive is that they add an inch to my height, restoring me to 5'10", but in a subtle way; I look like I am wearing flats. Also, these sandals hose off easily and I have even tossed them into the wash (in a lingerie bag). My only negative comment is that they can make the soles of the feet sweat a little. But still, I am a satisfied return customer.
