I started using collagen peptides recently for joint maintenance and repair. The verdict is still out as to whether or not it's going to make a difference for me. But I haven't been taking collagen for very long and I'm told it can take a while to notice the effects.When I started taking collagen, I was using a different brand (Garden of Life). It has types I and III collagen has a high protein profile per serving and is supposed to be flavorless. It is not. I found that the Garden of Life product didn't mix very well and if not diluted and/or mixed enough, would have a taste I didn't find agreeable at all.CONTRAST THIS WITH DOUBLE WOOD collagen peptides. First, it's cheaper per unit than the GOL brand. Granted you don't get as much per serving. But it mixes and dissolves into any liquid very, very well. The best part, no taste. It says it's flavorless...and it REALLY is. Lastly, it has not only TYPE I AND TYPE III collagen, but ALSO TYPE II, and that's the one which specifically targets joints. If you look around, you'll discover that many of the brands don't have type II collagen and this is probably the most important type to consume if you're looking for joint repair and maintenance. All these factors taken together mean that for me, DOUBLE WOOD COLLAGEN IS A SUPERIOR PRODUCT. I do not understand the negative reviews I saw claiming it doesn't mix well and tastes weird. My experience is totally the opposite of this. Mixes great. No taste. HAS TYPE II COLLAGEN. Perfect. 5 stars. Thank you Doublewood.

This stuff really works! My wife's skin glows and it is so soft. No more crepe skin. Her hair is beginning to have more body and her joints no longer ache. Taste isn't bad either.

Okay, so I wish I had before and after. It's been a month, I added it subscription!!!!I have an issue with perimenopause causing my skin to be more dry and dull. As well as just aging. My friend recommended I try spoil child, but not at that price. Lol.Here is what I can say, after week I could not only see the difference could feel it when I touch my skin. I am AUHD. So I notice everything. But.....my friend came in town and asked if I was doing anything new. And yes I was. I was using this, redlight therapy mask, and a new serum to go with the redlight therapy mask.Now for the taste and such, I add it to my 8-10oz juices or smoothies. Or I add it to 6 oz of water and and drink. It's better with my juice smoothies because you can't taste the syrup flavor aftertaste. With water, it's like oh, okay there is definitely syrup on this. But it doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste so good you drink a second one right away.I have noticed that my inflammation is more down. I am 39 also I feel it was helping with some of my other symptoms I was having with age. If you are in your 20's starting it now means it will go a long way into your aging. I love it. And if I change my mind, like if after two months I don't see anymore change, I will come back and update my post.

Really good when mixed in water. The flavor isn't overwhelming, but I can't take it alone. It seems to be making my skin look good and fingers crossed my nails grow. Overall pretty good.

I have purchased this item multiple times. I have recently lost a ton of weight due to medical issues, and have had sagging skin all over my body. It’s been awful!! I already used a collagen supplement, but wanted something powerful for baths that my skin could soak up from the outside - as our skin is our biggest organ I knew it needed help from the outside as well. I couldn’t find a lot of products that actually showed results in terms of bath help, but this was absolutely effective and amazing!! I saw many results almost instantly after adding it to my bath water. I add about a 1/4 of a cup, right before I get in. Being a nutritionist, I also believe and know you soak in what you put on your skin, and do believe it has helped additionally with my over all digestion. Our skin is an amazing organ, and things that are safe to ingest should be safe for our skin- if it’s not, you shouldn’t be ingesting it. I also appreciate the quality and the darker bottle to keep any light changes from happening to the collagen. I will keep buying. Thank you for helping me on this crazy weight loss/skin saggy journey. I still have a way to go, but it’s gone from complete old lady sag (I’m early 40’s - had 6 kids and 6 c-sections) to more youthful glow, elasticity, and with a little toning work with my muscles I have no doubt I will be comfortable in my own skin again and not embarrassed to be seen. Flavor is good. Not as potent or effective as other brands ,I have tried . I haven't seen the effects yet.

This is my 2nd bottle. It's honestly worth the try. It's very sweet but you'll be alright. I've seen significant growth in my hair, nails and skin's elasticity has improved. So go for it.
