Studio Ghibli - Kiki's Delivery Service - Jiji, Benelic Magnet Blind Box Figure

These are such a cute, enjoyable addition to our fridge! Every time I go into the kitchen, I'm greeted by Jiji's sweet face with varying expressions. I originally found these at the local Asian market, and picked one up to see how the quality was. The quality is pretty darn good! Solid build (and I do mean solid - they are heavier than you'd expect), good paint work, strong magnet. I was so excited to go get a few more (despite their cost - they bring me more than that in smiles), but they'd sold out in the meantime and weren't sure if they'd get more. Thus, I ended up here. I don't know how much happiness/how many smiles they'll bring you, but if you think you'd enjoy being greeted by our favorite sardonic cat, I think you won't be disappointed.These are done blind-box style, meaning you'll get a random one of the x-number of possibilities (I think in this case it's 6 or so). I got Jiji's 'normal' face, and his embarrassed/shy face. I'm hoping to collect more over time, assuming they remain available.

Since I was young I have loved Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service! I saved this magnet set on my Amazon wishlist solely because I hoped to obtain them someday as the listed I had save was 'sold out' for a few years. To my surprise I saw the magnets were back in stock and I bought one immediately. I hope to get more on my next payday!The box was a tad beat up because it was shipped in a paper mailer, but thankfully Jiji is totally safe. I would however recommend that the seller use a small box or bubble mailer at the very last upon future shipments as some buyers keep the collector boxes.

The media could not be loaded. This is a must buy for any Jiji fan! This was a gift and my gf loved it, also the box comes in very good condition. So if any of you want to gift it to a loved one or like to collect packaging that won’t be an issue.

I was expecting a pack of 5 small magnets (the ones in the picture), BUT this is not that!! This is a kinder-surprise style box that has only ONE of those magnets, and you don't know which one. That being said, the one that is in the box is HUGE!! I expected 5 little guys and got one big one and honestly, it is so cute I'm not complaining. It is well-made and looks gorgeous. Sooooo just know what you're getting!

Adorable. I got the hipster jaded looking one saying MEH! WOULD LOVE THE WHOLE SET BUT ITS BLIND BOX! Don't understand the blind box concept as a marketing tool. Not really interested in buying multiples of an unknown to possibly get a different item. Seriously. I don't t understand why anyone buys more than one when theres no assurance that theres no duplicate. And the value diminishes when you open the box. It's not a slot machine or a horse race, it's an unnecessary purchase as it is, and it's a deterrent when I want choice. I would buy each variation if I knew that's what I would get.

Magnetic not strong enough. Falls off easily if bumped. Don't put paper behind it.

Dress up your boring old fire extinguisher with an authentic magnetic Ghibli cat head. Be the envy of your neighbors. And remember Smokey says only YOU can prevent forest fires.

Bought my first one cheaper, then the price went up to about $16 before I could order more. More than $10-12 seems like a bit much for these, but they are really cute. If I catch them cheaper again, I'll be sure to grab a few more.
