I needed a medium duty snatch block and thought this would be perfect - I should have read the product description more closely and read the reviews (I was in a hurry and didn't). This product is much bigger and stronger than I anticipated, and I am very pleased. Excellent value for the price. The description says that it will accommodate rope up to 3/8" but I measured the inside width of the pully, and it will accommodate rope up to 1/2", perhaps even 9/16", though that would probably exceed the safe load limit of the snatch block. If it ever fails, I will update this review, but I cannot imagine it failing except if it is abused or used in an unsafe manner. I only wish that the seller would offer this with appropriately sized accessories such as d-rings and tree saver straps.

Excellent product, Ive winched out alot of vehicles and they never let me down. The only negative thing is they're heavy.

This just arrived and I was surprised by how large it is. It seems very well made and super sturdy. But for my use, I think it is too big. Before you buy, go check the dimensions. It's 10 inches by 5 inches, with a shackle hole of about 3 inches.

This is the 4th one I've bought and all four are doing great. I use them in combinations to pull out undesirable trees by the roots. I use synthetic cable and can remove tree stumps up to 18" in diameter. They have a grease fitting for lubrication and the sheave turns easily. The side plates rotate so you don't have to thread the cable through the block for ease of use. The only drawback is that they are sooooo tough that they cut alloy logging chain. You need to use a hardened shackle sold elsewhere at Amazon.

Es práctico pero no soporta una carga de 1 ton a lo mucho, en mi primer uso se botó y dobló un seguro del perno.

I was more than pleased when I taken it out of package and it was heavy duty. Defiantly strong material, and has a grease nipple. 10/10

Great product, has a grease nipple already installed... yes that means you have to maintain your equipment. very easy to use. works with the soft shackle or Recovery D ring
