A cautionary five-star review
I love the phone, but this is a cautionary five star review. My problem is that I like this phone so much I want to buy it even though it's no longer being made. The first one I bought was mislabeled. It was not actually a D851, which is the T-Mobile branded smartphone, which includes all the US bands as well as gets the updates from the T-Mobile network (currently android 6.0, security patch 2016-07-01, kernel 3.4.0, and software D85130e). This includes the wi-fi calling which is quite useful when travelling internationally in locations with good wifi.So why the cautions? The first phone I bought off this site was actually a D855, even though it had a sticker on the box labeling it as D851. This faked me out enough that I actually did all the installation before I realized it was the wrong phone. The D855 is the "international" version, which will work in the US, but not quite the same (see the paragraph above.) I got a refund and the seller claimed he had no idea and had personally inspected it.The second phone I bought, also advertised as new, came in all the right packaging, including the original screen protector, with a battery dated just a couple months ago that also appeared original. However, it did not operate flawlessly. In troubleshooting with TMobile, they agreed it was defective. They looked it up (using the IMEI) and it was over two years old. Further the battery discharged in about a third of the time, even when I put it in a different LG G3. (Did I mention I like this phone?)Fortunately for me, TMobile agreed to provide warranty service anyway--said I was a great, long term customer with a big account, or some other flattery. Needless to say I am grateful, and the replacement, which was backordered (did I mention this phone is no longer made?), has shipped and should be here soon. Why did I order a phone no longer made? First, it does help to have all the same phones in the family. Second, they're cheaper when they aren't newly released. Third, this phone includes upgrades to android 6.0 currently, a high resolution screen and camera, a replaceable battery, 32 Gb memory plus room for a micro-SD card which is now ridiculously cheap, and it has a very capable gps as well. All those features mean I hope to use these phones for more than the standard two year replacement cycle, maybe even four years?! We'll see. I'm just an ordinary consumer, after all, although I do like to take a lot of pictures.

Nice phone, just not for me.
I really tried to like this phone. I loved the specs, the QHD screen, the built in space, the memory, removable battery, the camera, but somehow I still went back to my Blackberry Z30. I got the phone T-Mobile branded as it was my carrier and used the same SIM I had in my BB.The phone is pretty nice, features like split screen multitasking, integrated google services, nice camera, crisp screen and speaker. My major gripe was the laggy performance and crappy email client (built in). The antenna in the BB seemed to have stronger connection, the emails flowed like silk on my way under powered BB.I work in IT and on-call is part of the job, so emails is a major part of my communication. I would reply to an email and the email opens in like 30 seconds, then when I type there is like a 2 second lag between typing and seeing the text. I reset the phone twice but I still get the lag. I don't think its a defect, it's just Android, a fragmented OS that requires now high specs for it to run decently.Unable to add my customized notifications. When I try to change my messages or email notification sound I can change using the set default sounds, but no browse option to go to my SD card, pretty simple to do these days on modern phones you would think. As a casual phone user this may be nice, for a productivity phone I think BB has whipped it.

This phone was in great shape, pretty much looked brand new and I have not had any issues with it at all and have been using it for a couple weeks now. Shipment came when promised and overall am very happy with the purchase.*Update - Product sold by Mobile Shop USA. 43 days after I received the phone it started glitching horribly. I contacted Mobile Shop USA to see if they would work with me on exchanging the phone as obviously the "refurbishing" process didn't work on this phone and I asked them if they would be willing to make it right. 2 days later I received an email from them stating that the request was outside of the 30 day warranty period. While they are in there right to do so I though they might want to stand behind their product since it was less than 2 weeks outside their warranty. But they didn't want therefore I cannot discourage you enough from using them.

LG G3 is a very underrated cell phone it can be upgraded to Android Marshmallow. I consider it a jack or all trades type of cell phone, it also doesn't cost a lot these days especially if your on a tight budget. I currently have a Galaxy Note 4 and and I view the LG G3 has a Galaxy Note 4 without the Stylus. The LG G3 is a great Budget back-up cell phone it has a lot of useful cellular bands too especially when your in those hard to reach places.

Beware of faulty battery.
Phone has great specs. But at first charge, the battery swole up but still worked. I kept using it for another day after ordering a new battery. But out of nowhere the phone heated up and battery swole up even more. This tome, it got so swollen that it raises and cracked the screen. I really needed the phone so I was able to get the screen replaced for $50 right down the street. I didn't have time to return and wait for a refund. Amazon won't give me a partial refund to cover part of the repair. I wasn't gonna be able to find another phone that would come in less than a week.A little hard to tell how swollen the battery is in the picture, but it is extremely swollen.

Oddly slippery for a TPU type material
Decent case that I barely use due to it being too slippery. Fits snugly and well, but not quite my cup of tea.

Near Perfect LG G3
I've had enough time to test things out and play on this phone. I'm lovin' it, but it's not perfect. The upper right part of the screen when put on it's side will sometimes stop responding to touch for a few seconds or so. This is easily rectified with pressing the Power button once to turn off and on the the screen. Other than this, this phone is quite good and nearly perfectly matches my last LG G3 phone.
