The product arrived quickly and as pictured. It's large enough where multiple cats or very small dogs could drink from it all day without risking the water level getting too low. It's quiet except for the sound of the water. You have to keep the bowl pretty full. Once the water level gets about halfway down the bowl, you can hear the pump sputtering a bit.I've owned something similar before, but it was plastic and I wasn't able to clean all the pieces as well as I would've liked for long term use. This, while more breakable than the plastic, allows you to clean all the different parts and comes with a little brush.The main reason I chose this one over other water fountains is it has multiple drinking options. As cats can be rather picky and fountains are kind of pricey, I didn't want to buy something just to have them refuse to drink out of it because the water moved too quickly or splashed too much. The base is like a traditional water dish except that there's movement to the water, there's the steps on the middle piece that has a thin layer of water running all over it (this is usually the favorite), there's three little spouts that trickle water, and there's a cup at the top with bubbling water. I left their original water dishes out for a day or so while they got used to the new fountain, but so far they seem to enjoy it and I don't have to rinse and fill up dishes every morning. I just top it off if it's looking low.There are only really 3 negatives and one is really just a personal preference. First, I wish the inside of the bowl matched the color of the bowl rather than being white. Second, it didn't come with any instructions whatsoever. It wasn't hard to figure out, but i know filters usually need to be rinsed before use. I rinsed the filter for about 30 seconds since that's what I think I had to do previously, but I wish there'd been some info included. The only other complaint is I wish the water pump had different settings. It doesn't seem to bother the cats, but I think they might use other parts of the fountain if I could slow the flow of water just a bit.Overall the cats seem happy and I'm happy with the product.

Update: 1 year laterStill a great fountain has lasted this long. Better than any plastic or stainless steel one. One thing to note, make sure to clean the entire pump and take it all apart I’ve added pictures. It is still an easy fountain to clean compared to others but everyone uses the same style pump and it’s so hard/tedious to take apart and clean. I have to do it once a week, for reference I have 2 cats. It’s still pretty quiet although it gets loud when the water is low. The 2 filters are cheap and easy to replace. Mine seems to get dirty every week and it could be due to having 2 cats, the large surface area it has or just the fact that it’s in the sun.Original:I love this fountain it’s the best one I’ve ever tried and it’s beautiful. I love how easy to clean. I would buy another one if I ever need one.

This is a great little fountain that my 2 cats really love. The noise is virtually 0 and it was very easy to assemble. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend as a nice upgrade for your pets :)

Fountain worked for a couple of months now the pump seems to still be on but not enough pressure to pump the water out of the top. Complete waste of money, do not recommend!

I really like this fountain. It's easy to clean with no crevices or plastic parts (besides the pump). It also looks nice. My only problem is that my cat wants to drink out of the bottom where the non filtered water is. I cut a hole in a lid I had to cover the bottom go try to train her to drink from the top. All in all good fountain I just with it had a top to go over the 'non filtered' water area.

The media could not be loaded. We've had epoxy fountains for a few years and as our cats get older, they find it difficult to drink with all the decorative textures. Found this a great solution, because it's made for pets, has extra easier to clean filter and a very quiet pump. So glad they had many colors; the purple I choose is soft with an ombre finish. The ceramic is heavier than our previous fountains which makes it less likely to spill. Very pleased, great instructions and reasonable price.

Cats love it! I've had it for 2 weeks now. I kept checking it thinking it would get slimy but it didn't. So I cleaned it anyway but found no hair buildup or anything. And it is silent! When water gets low it starts making a small sound of trickling water which is great because it reminds me to fill it to the brim again. My 2 cats, one a ragdoll, need water added every 5 days. I was also worried there was not enough room for my ragdoll's big head to drink from the base but he does. Later I realized I could also move the tiered fountain to the edge as you can see from the picture to make more room. The entire thing is ceramic too, not just the base. Really, really pleased.
