This is my first time getting Country Archer jerky and I have to say I was very impressed. This is a great beef jerky which is as full of flavor as a mass produced jerky can get. I've tried all kinds of jerky like Jack Link's, Old Wisconsin or Chef's Cut, but Country Archer original flavor edged them out by a bit. First of all, consistency or feel of the jerky when you actually eat it. This jerky is not as tough as Jack Link's (which is nice if you want something to really chew on for a bit) or as chewy as Chef's Cut (which feels less like jerky and more like cold lean stake). But Country Archer has a nice balance between tough and chewy, this means you can chew on it for a bit to get full flavor or just eat it easily as any other snack. Second, I love the 16oz package and the price is reasonable for the amount you get. Third, the actual jerky pieces tend to be in consistently bite sized shapes. I don't have to worry about pulling out a monster sized one or tiny pieces that slip from between my fingers whenever I pull one out of the bag without looking. Last, but certainly not least, the flavor. The flavor is actually relatively simple but it has some smokiness to it, as any jerky should, which is why I actually like it. The taste is not too overpowering and doesn't linger in your mouth for too long so you can use this jerky as a nice addition to almost any beverage of your choice (both alcoholic and not). In conclusion, Country Archer is a great jerky which allows you to get your money's worth. I would put this jerky high on your list if you're looking for a snack to eat while you're watching something. Or if you just want something that's not too tough to chew on while you're working (it's not oily or fatty so you do not have to worry about sticky fingers). PS: According to the packaging it does have 5g of sugar per serving, so for those who want to avoid all carbohydrates in your diet, you might want to keep looking.

I've been trying to get my girls to eat better, so I got these hoping they would at least try them. They are very picky. Sure enough, they tried them and loved them. Plus they are the best price here. The sticks are perfect snack size for little kids and they love the flavor. I love that they have an excellent shelf life. 5 stars.

These taste good but a few in the package were actually moldy. I contacted the company and they sent me a few replacements. So just be sure to check when you get them that they are ok to eat.

Archer's is one of the only natural grass fed beef jerky brands out there which is why I mostly only buy their brand. They don't have extra bad ingredients like sugar, nitrates or preservative crap which is great! I do think they are insanely expensive which is why I don't purchase them very often but they make a great snack when you're on the road or flying. I'm pretty sure they're keto friendly too and they pack a high protein content - very necessary for keeping up energy!! I only gave them 4 stars for the flavor and freshness because I've gotten some jerky that seemed a little old and more brown than red. The casing was also sorta greasy but it didn't taste bad. I do wish they offered more flavors for their sticks so that's why it only gets 4 stars for flavor.

This jerky is HORRIBLE! I'd give it 0 if I could. It's soft, slimy any gooey. And though it's "original" flavor, it was sweet. Yuk!!

Really good jerky Won't jerk your teeth out chewing. Softer than expected but really good! Try it!
