Worth it!
We always buy this keyboard. Each upgrade it just that much better. It’s a quality keyboard. Holds a charge for days & protects the iPad. Will keep buying as the old ones wear out/ iPad updates.

Outstanding, Just What the Doctor Ordered
I researched a bunch of these keyboards and was minutes away from buying the Apple Magic keyboard. So glad I didn’t. Also really glad I didn’t go with the cheaper sub $100 models. I absolutely need a trackpad and the cheaper models reviews were heart breaking. The Magic gets good reviews but it is an Apple product and once you are in the orchard you tend to stay there. I would know.Anyway Michelle Nyugen has a really great article in Wall Street Journal, How to turn your iPad into a Laptop, or something like that. And she mentions this keyboard. But I ignored all that journalism and objectivity and focused on the Apple brand. But luckily I snapped out of it. I needed something that I could use on my lap, the Magic Keyboard sucks for that, the Brydge is fanastic. I needed a top notch trackpad, this one is awesome. What I didn’t know is Brydge brought all the familiar MacOS shortcuts over. So all the keyboard shortcuts I am used to, work perfectly. I am at the top of the learning curve, that’s sweet. The keys have a nice travel, great feel and an oh-so-satisfying click. The backlight is great. Very bright and the top row of keys are all function keys specifically tailored to iPadOS. So nice. I got used to the keyboard so fast I forgot my iPad Pro was an iPad and got surprised when I touched the screen and stuff happened!I have to be 100% mobile so having this keyboard and a cellular enabled iPad Pro is perfect for me. Sturdy
I bought this to replace a free standing Logitech keyboard. That keyboard was full-sized and could pair with 3 different devices at the touch of a button. This keyboard holds the iPad in its tight grasp. It matches the size of the tablet, so the keyboard is cramped. I’ll get used to it. It’s hefty and solid, made of quality materials, except for the back cover, which is a flat piece of plastic with magnets. It slides around easily and isn’t of much use. I really like that this keyboard holds whatever viewing angle I choose, from open flat to 180 degrees (closed). The iPad comes on when you open it up and away from the keyboard, just like the Apple cover. The hinges are necessarily quite stiff, given that they need to hold the screen at the selected angle. So opening it up is a bit of a minor hassle. If the viewing angle is at 90 degrees - straight up - you can type and/or use the touch screen and it has the solid feel of a laptop. Beyond 90 though, the whole affair tends to rock and wobble when you use the touch screen. I don’t use the backlit keys but it’s a nice feature to have. My favorite is the upper left button on the keyboard. Each press backs you out of the current screen, until you reach the home screen. This eliminates a ton of finger swiping.Over all, I’m happy with it so far and would recommend it.

Useful while it lasts, but it doesn’t last
Heed the warnings in the negative reviews, the rubber around the hinges comes apart after just a few months, and since that’s the only thing that protects your iPad from the metal hinges themsevels as well as the only thing that secures your ipad in place, the whole thing becomes useless once those begin to fail. The trackpad is responsive and accurate, and the keyboard is great, but those things don’t matter if luck of the draw determines whether or not it lasts longer than a couple of months.

Truly Arrived "Like Nw"
I have the twin to this keypad case, I just bought this one as a backup for my less than 6 month old iPad Pro. I intend to keep this ipad for a long time, and at some point the keypad case in use will probably give out, so this is my backup. Why, you ask? For $18, why not? This case arrived in original packaging, looking totally new. I charged it up, mostly to verify that it would charge, and then I put it in a drawer, awaiting use at some point in the future. These are great keypad cases, excellent key 'feel' and lighting if you so choose, and I am not seeing any delay in the keypad connecting via Bluetooth so I don't lose the first character or two as i type, as I have with other cases in the past.

Decent Keyboard with Some Flaws – Better for Laptop-Style Use
This keyboard works well if you're turning your iPad Pro into more of a laptop. However, the rubber friction mounts wear out and deform quickly—though they still function. Also, be very careful inserting your iPad, as it can crack your screen protector if you're not careful and precise. Overall, it’s decent, but I’d recommend looking for a design more like Apple’s for a smoother experience.

Current status of Brydge
Do a Google search Brydge and Brydge Connect for plenty of info for you BEFORE ordering. These are great keyboards with a limited lifespan. My first one lasted just under a year, after conversation with support I was sent a replacement. It lasted a little over 3 years then failed. I ordered another figuring the great price would be fine even with the possibility of a short life. The first thing they ask is that you update firmware wth the app. I already had that but it was non functional. Went to the App Store to check for update. Nope, it is totally gone. The new keyboard board connected right up with Bluetooth and seems to be working fine, but no way to know how old the inventory is that is currently being liquidated at a very good price. Or, how long it may last. Its mighty good for under 40 bucks. Never found anything close to it over the years.
