Just what we needed
Our light literally fell out of the fixture. We were able to look it up and order this and repair our cannister light. It saved us a fortune

It works.
Pretty basic lamp socket. Does what it’s intended to do. Only negative thing I can say is the price. Why so expensive for a piece of plastic? But it is nice quality so I could be acting selfish. All in all, great product.

CFL Socket Works Fine
The socket itself is fine. Because I have been unable to fully waterproofits housing, the ballast is periodically destroyed -- about every two SanFrancisco winters. And here lies the problem: I have not been able tofind a way to remove the ballast wires from the socket once inserted soI have to replace ballast and socket as a pair. This is my third socket;I'd rather it were still my first. But the price is good.
