Perfect size, great design -- probably not built to last
My daughter has been using this lunch bag for 3 weeks and we love it. The size is perfect for holding a water bottle, hearty snack, and lunch. The carrying strap (included in addition to the handle) is great because it does get heavy. The bottom compartment fits a LunchBots bento tray or Yum Box which is fantastic, and because of the design the containers lay flat, preventing leaks. The only downside is that we are not yet a month into school and the piping and fabric is already starting to fray. I don't know that this will be very durable and I definitely think it will need to be replaced down the road. That said, the size and design are excellent and the price seems fair.

I bought 2 bags: one broke after 4 months, the other one is still OK
I purchased two bags: a pink animal print bag for my 2 year-old daughter (zipper broke after 4 months) and a solid green bag for me (still intact).PROS:* BOTTOM COMPARTMENT - I was looking for a bag that could hold bento-style lunch containers. This one works great for us. We like the containers from EasyLunchBoxes.com and Fit & Fresh Cool Coolers Slim Lunch Ice Packs ice packs. The interior of the bag is black. It's easy to wipe off and doesn't show stains.* TOP COMPARTMENT - Holds drinks, snacks and more. Example 1: I like to take a 12 oz. can of soda, a container of oatmeal (9.5 oz.), a small Tupperware container of salad dressing (1.5 oz.), a snack-size bag of carrots and an individual container of hummus. I store my bag in the fridge at work so I don't need an ice pack. Example 2: In my daughter's bag, we put an ice pack, utensils, a container of milk, and a snack. There is always a little room to spare.* STRAPS - I'm usually carrying five bags out the door every morning: my purse, my lunch, my daughter's lunch, her bag for school and my bag for work. The shoulder straps leave my hands free to carry my keys, my coffee (Contigo cup), and my kid if necessary. The shoulder strap is too long for small children, but there is a hand strap too. My daughter likes to use both straps when she carries the bag herself.CONS:* EXTERIOR FABRIC STAINED - I put my bag in the fridge at work not noticing that there was big puddle of salad dressing that had accidentally spilled on the shelf. The dressing got all over the bottom of my bag and I immediately tried to wipe it off, but it was already stained. When I got home, I sprayed it with stain remover, threw it in the washing machine and then let it air dry. It looks a little better but unfortunately is still stained. My daughter's bag doesn't have any major stains, but looks a little dingy since it is a lighter color.* ZIPPER BROKE - The zipper broke on the top compartment of my daughter's bag after only four months. I know how to sew and it looks like poor construction on the bag rather than normal wear and tear. We replaced her bag with one from EasyLunchBoxes.com. Their bag doesn't have separate compartments, but costs almost 75% less than this bag. I miss the shoulder strap.BOTTOM LINE - This is roomy lunch bag and the shoulder strap is nice. However, it would be even better if it was a little more durable.

Great sized bag! Not too big, not too small!!
I bought this lunch kit for my husband who serves his country. He wanted something that was bigger than the standard lunch kit but that was decent looking as well. A plus is that this one states that it is Food safe, PVC, BPA & Phthalate-free (we had become unsure about his existing one). The bottom half has a food safe, clear storage box with removable lid that encompasses the entire bottom portion. They state this box is dishwasher safe. My view on this is that it could keep numerous items (like sandwiches or bananas) from getting squished or bruised. However, if you wanted, you could also remove the plastic box entirely. The top portion is equally roomy! The lunch kit can carry quite a few items all at once:BOTTOM PORTION: 1 glass container with a full chicken breast, cutlery, nectarine, piece of cheese, small container of nutsTOP PORTION: 2 small glass storage containers containing different saladsHe uses a carabiner clip to attach his drink container to the top of the bag. Also, no ice pack has been used, but food does remain cool from 6 am until noon although the lunch kit is not stored in a fridge.I am only giving this product 4/5 stars as the zipper sticks a little, giving me minor cause for concern in the future.

The quality of this Wildkin lunch bag surpasses any lunch bag I have purchased in the past.
Excellent seller! Item is exactly like pictured, with vibrant colors. Amazon Prime shipped in 2-days as promised. I was on the fence about paying more money, but it seems I will be glad I did. The quality of this Wildkin lunch bag surpasses any lunch bag I have purchased in the past. I've bought cheaper versions & the straps have broken off,the inside lining ripped or zippers break off or stop working. They were just made of cheaper materials. Every year I have had to replace her lunch bag, so I ended up spending more anyway. It seems Wildkin has really paid attention to every little detail & made this bag sturdy. Of course time will tell, but I truly see great craftsmanship in this product. The lunch bag is also a little bigger than the one we previously had. This is a plus because my daughter is going into Middle School & her appetite is also bigger. It is very roomy without being too large or awkward to carry.I wish the seller offered monogram service, as my daughter wants her initials on the front of the bag. I will take it to a local place to have it done for her, but It would've been nice to have that added option. Just sayin! 😊

Great lunch bag!
I bought this for my son to use as his lunchbox for school. I love how roomy it is and that it comes with a plastic removable container with lid in the bottom compartment. It's well made and I've not had any problems with it. I've washed it multiple times in the washer and it comes out clean with no wear. My son loves the camo design and that I can fit so much food & drinks pouches to get him thru lunch & snack. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a well made, long lasting lunch bag.
