Every time I go to Spain I get bitten multiple times if I've forgotten bug spray or missed a square inch of skin with the spray and somehow the little ***** always get me. I'm very good at not scratching the itch but they still swell up and look unsightly. I thought I'd go for this key chain version as that way I'll have it with me the majority of the time and always having my phone with me seemed the best option. Arrived in Spain this week and have had the opportunity to really test it. It stops the itch instantly and generally reduces swelling effectively. There are still red lumps but nothing compared with not using this little device. I set it to maximum and it really does burn but it's a case of grin and bare it to stop that itch and reduce the swelling. The key is to use it as soon as you feel that initial itch, don't wait to later to use it, again another benefit of the keychain/mobile phone combination means you can always have it with you and always have power to use it. One of the best treatments for gnat bites I've ever used, much better than the dab on ointments. I thoroughly recommend it.

Can't believe I'm actually here saying how good this is. At first I thought it must be a placebo affect, but genuinely I couldn't live without this on our mosquito infested holiday! Despite being on the tricky side of "uncomfortable" at times, even the kids braved the few seconds of pain for hours of no itchy gain! Take a breath, zap and boom...instant long lasting relief! Amazing! Highly recommend this item!

There's nothing worse than an itchy bite right?Avoiding is the best policy, but if you do get bit, this is the kit. (I should trademark that)It's tiny, if anything so tiny you might lose it. I put mine on the zip pull of an pocket inside my camera case, so I always have it to hand on adventures.Being powered by your phone and controlled via an app is genius!Does it hurt? Kinda. You're just thinking, "Ow, that's a bit hot, I'm not sure I can take this..." - and then it's finished. And you're thinking, "erm, that does seem to have actually worked...wow."It doesn't actually burn you, there's no mark afterwards. It's just uncomfortable for a few seconds, and then you're done, no more itching. I think it's worth it.

Was a bit dubious and it's not cheap, but having had nasty bites on our last few holidays, I decided to find out if it was worth it. It really is! it's day one of our holiday and I couldn't wait for one of the family to be bitten so we could try it out and luckily my daughter was the first victim! Within seconds she reported the bite had stopped itching and it hasn't got worse after several hours. Tonight we've all had a few bites and have all used this, even my granddaughter and there's been no whinging! No-one is complaining of itching which is nothing short of a miracle. My daughter has already ordered one for when we return to the UK. I've attached it to the strap of my phone so it's handy. It seems to be well-secured so should stay fixed.

I get a lot of insect bites so I got this to stop the itch \ scratch cycle.It did work for me but I had to use it on the higher settings and it did hurt a little but stopped the itch after a number of applications to the same bite.This could just mean that I have a higher threshold of pain, or my body is used to bites and it takes more for it to work.What I like is it is small and can be carried on a key ring.What I don't like is that it must stay attached to the phone while applying it to a bite.That can be awkward depending on what part of the body you have been bitten.I suppose it may work attached to a phone while connected on a cable, I haven't tried that yet.Personally I have found a device called Aspivenin to be the best thing for insect bites along with Anthisan cream, see link below.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aspivenin-APV1100000/dp/B008K3KAKYBut I suppose the Heat It is a good compromise for carrying around.

Mosquitoes love me, and I am allergic to them, and also to the histamine response to them which is unfortunate. If there is one mosquito anywhere near me, it finds me, and tells its friends. Well fine, come find me... because I am armed with Heat It.I just took it on a 2 month backpacking tour, and it spent a lot of the time living in my wallet. It started life in the first aid kit, then the daypack, and then progressed to living in the wallet (or my pocket depending no what I was doing) where it could be easily accessed.
