I HAD BOUGHT ONE A FEW YEARS AGO. IT IS SO STRUDY AND HAS LASTS THRU A MOVE OR TWO.MY DAUGHTER WAS LOOKING FOR AN ORGANIZATIONAL ITEM FOR HER 3 YR OLD SONS TOYS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO HER. IN FACT I BOUGHT THIS ONE FOR HER. SHE LOVED IT SO MUCH SHE BOUGHT ONE FOR HER CLOSET IN HER BEDROOM.IT IS NOT FLIMSY. IT IS VERY WELL MADE. I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT IT. IT MAY TAKE 2 PEOPLE AT ONE POINT, BUT OTHER THAN THAT I DID IT MYSELF.AND THE ONE THING I LOVE IS YOU CAN CHANGE THE BINS TO SUIT YOUR DECOR AT ANY GIVEN POINT. IT WILL UPGRADE YOUR LOOK.FOR THE MONEY, IT IS AN AWESOME VALUE.

I have an odd ball room with sloping ceilings and such. I was able to install several of these bookshelves of different configurations to fit into the various spaces. Holds books and is the perfect size for LPs.Only one suggestion for the company. Make a set of these half as deep for paperbacks.Assembly, fairly easy to assemble. Had a little difficulty lining up a couple of the screw holes on two of the seven units that I bought. An assembly tip, use a marker to mark the holes for the screws so you can line them up easier.

Very pleased overall. No the laminated coating isn't perfect but it's better than most at this price point. Next we will talk about the assembly. As a contractor I brought a variety of extra tools to do the assembly having put together many similar things in the past, with many four letter words being muttered. I didn't need anything else other than the recommended tools. It took about 30 minutes to assemble and was so easy! I remember getting done thinking, why did I put this together? My wife could have easily done this and probably faster because she wouldn't have grabbed all the extra tools. It seems sturdy overall. If I had a complaint or comment it would be to not over tighten the final screws. Just tighten till flush. And put a dab of super glue on the covers.

I liked the fact that it was packaged pretty well. It arrived with a crumpled corner of the box torn lengthwise. Yet the contents were undamaged. I found only one slight imperfection, one of the small shelves had a minor indentation...visible but not enough of an issue to warrant returning the entire unit.I hated the fact that my unit measured 26.825" long verses the described 27.8" listed in the add. Left an unsightly gap/hard to clean space where I wanted to put it in the laundry room. The sides of the unit are apparently foam filled. I inadvertently placed my hand and a bit too much of my body weight on one side while assembling the unit and I could hear and feel the foam crush as I did. I wasn't expecting that so I would pay attention to the weight limits for these units and avoid getting close to the stated limits. The dowels used to align and strengthen the unit are plastic dowels not wooden and appear flexible and not all that snug once installed, but it was not wobbly once completely assembled which was a pleasant surprise. It suits the purpose for which I bought it and it was much easier, quicker, and about the same out of pocket cost if I had purchased melamine boards and attempted to build it from scratch.

After several orders and canceled orders with other sellers was happy to finally make purchase and items showed up at door. Bought 2. If want both same way then cheaper to buy larger one. But i wanted flexibility to lay one down and stand the other. If change my mind later then can move around to better fit my needs than one larger one. Fits perfectly on accent wall of art studio. Much more sturdier than 11in cube shelves. Larger 13 in cubes hold a lot of art supplies and looks good with leaf pattern cubes. The thicker sides make for great look and very sturdy. Happy with purchase

Directions for assembly were easy to follow and it probably took me about 1 hour to put together (with a toddler and baby interrupting frequently). Sturdy construction compared to another that I bought cheaper a few years ago. Comes with wall anchor. Also comes with little tabs to cover screw holes (I will be glueing these on for better security with little fingers around). Perfect for my toddler’s room.

We ordered TWO of these shelves. In less than a month from assembly, a shelf in each shelf has broken - the cheap fiberboard shelf just came apart around the wooden peg. The only way to fix would be to add an additional support underneath the shelf. The shelf itself looks terrible, with a big crack. The fact that this happened on BOTH shelves that we ordered in such a short time leads me to believe that these are simply very low quality shelves. We have had the similar item from another (Swedish) manufacturer, for less cost and it has lasted for over five years. These shelves were simply holding toys - very lightweight. Purchased in July but not even used until the second week of August - so TWO WEEKS of use and they both broke. The seller refuses to refund money, instead they would like me to 1. disassemble 2. repackage and 3. ship back to them (paid shipping). Not only do I not have the time to take care of this costly problem, I do not have a box to return these items in. I am extremely disappointed in the product as well as the seller.

I should have just bought the same exact model from IKEA. It would have been WAY less of a headache to put together. AND it would have been about $20 cheaper! I consider myself an expert at putting together furniture, and the directions for this were just so bass-ackwards. The way they want you to put it together as far as steps just doesn't work. I was extremely frustrated. I highly doubt that the manufacturer even put it together the way it was suggested. It's nearly impossible to get all 3 shelves into the bottom and top piece at the same time. I had to take the entire thing apart and do it my own way. The dowels don't hammer in as far as they are supposed to and I actually ended up breaking some of them. Once it was put together, it is a nice looking piece, very sturdy. But you can see the bolts on the inside and outside which makes it look cheap.
