Favorite work boot.
Loved these but seems like they might be out of production, are no longer available in my size. Got about 2 years out of them as my regular work boot before the heel started to separate on one, should be fixable with some glue, will keep them for dirty jobs. Wides had the perfect amount of room for my feet, plenty of toe space while staying snug on the rest of my foot. Comfortable and not too heavy. Bought the newer version that's mostly identical except with re-enforced heels and toes, while a great feature unfortunately the interior stitching for the extra material on those is stiff and uncomfortably rubs against my heel.. these were great though.

Pay for the comfort and quality.
No break in time needed with these, they felt great right out of the box. I’ve only worn them for about 2 weeks now and work and so far they have held up great. They fit me good (pick the size you normally wear) and are very comfortable for long hours on your feet. It is a composite toe so lighter than a steel toe which I prefer. Haven’t had any issues with water getting in the boots from rain. Also, the material on the outside is very easy to clean. I plan on buying another pair once these get too beat up whenever that may be. I’ve had other boots and the past that were cheaper but I’d always end up changing the insoles and doing everything I could to get them to be comfortable and they would always make my feet sore and blistered after long hours. These are not like that. They are expensive but you are paying for quality.

Great Boot and Quality! But Beware: Runs Large
Exactly what I was looking for in an electrical boot as not only is it certified up to 2018 code, but it looks and feels great too. There's nothing fancy about this boot, but that's not why we buy work boots anyway. This shoe is tough, rugged, comfortable, and has excellent grip on the soles. Everything I've come to expect from a Carhartt product. However, there were some minor issues while purchasing the boot. I actually had to purchase two pairs of the SAME boots before finding the right fit for this one. I've been a set 10.5/11 in boots and shoes since my body decided to give up on me and stop by growing at 6 feet tall (couldn't have just given me 2 more inches, could ya?). And never since then haven't had to wear a size 10 or 11 .5 in any shoe or boot. But with these specific boots, size 11 was absolutely enormous on my foot, and 10.5 wasn't any better. I now have a size 10, and to be honest it's still is a little large but not to the point where I feel it would be uncomfortable eventually. In fact, that little bit extra room will give plenty of space if I do need to double up on socks or wear a heavy sock. But be aware that these boots do run large and if you do not have a wider based foot it may feel as if there's too much room side to side as well. But, I've worn these boots for two days now and has not presented an issue even with feeling the extra space. All in all great boot though and considering I purchase the boot online and did not try it on in store I can't really complain about the size issue. The one issue I would mention though is that the shoe laces that come with it, although rugged, are pretty terrible at holding when you lace up. They may just need some more breaking in, but I have already bought new shoelaces that contour and hold to the boot much more firmly without slipping. Cheers!

Comfy enough for not working wear
Best work boots I’ve ever worn, including 20 years in combat boots. Total comfort and impressive durability.

CARHARTT BOOT
After using for one year couple month I personally like the boots. Reason why I like is” not that heavy, soft inside, outside sole still in great shape and most important is , it’s very comfortable. I use 8hour for 5 day for more then a year and still look good condition . This is my 2nd carhartt boot and both are very good .

These boots are amazing! I spent 5 years in the military and having to wear only a certain brand of boots messed my feet up and started making them flat. I tried all different kinds of boots after i got out. Even ranging all the way up to Double Hs and redwings. I was kinda skeptical on how long they would last working in aviation and around fuels and oils all the time but they surprising lasted longer than I thought they would. Overall these are the most comfortable boots and I'll be ordering another pair in case they decide to discontinue these. They are not waterproof but if your standing in a shallow puddle you'll be alright. The composite toe is much lighter than steal. Update...I had to warranty the first pair of boots because the sole was starting to fall apart. I contacted carhartt and they have a 1 year warranty against defects but it has to be through the company that you bought them from (amazon). Amazon was great about the return no questions asked after i plead my case they sent brand new boots with 2 day shipping. Now if these boots fail again in a short amount of time I wont be buying these again. They are still great boots and very comfortable just a little squeaky being rubber soles

The padding on the inside ankle edge of the tongue needs to be thicker, it should fit with the overlapping external lace edges to create a smooth continuous form to avoid pressure points (where the reinforced sticking occurs)... which is what's happening now.

These are great boots, they are light and stylish. I use a lot of Carhartt products for their quality, style and usefulness in my career. The synthetic toe makes it through nuclear grade detectors and provide good protection. These boots are ASTM F2413-18 labelled and qualified. This superseded ANSI basic boot requirements for job sites in 2018. These do not have the green label, however these meet the ANSI/ASTM requirements for safe work boots. The laces of these boots seem to have a metallic compound used to provide rigged, durable laces. I recommend these boots to meet any purpose you could require.

I searched for a long time for a wide boot that's both tough and comfortable and looks good too. I ordered 14 wide composite toe and I love them, They will hopefully be my last pair ever as I take care of my footwear and carhartt has the reliability of long lasting products.
