Perfect!
My son loves it I had him using a premier Full90 before and although I would make him wear it he hated it. He would complain that it always felt too tight and it would ride up and out of place a lot as well. On the Premier the sides would irritate the ears as well sometimes since this has the big ear openings he doesn't complain one bit about that anymore either. My son plays Midfielder and Goalie he wears it at all times. The head gear has 2 openings for a pony tail one on the lower back and one on the top of back of the helmet. I am Sikh and my son wears a head covering called a Patka this probably won't apply to most, but those who are Sikh if you simply tie the Top Knot at the rear top of the head instead of the front or middle the Rear opening will let his Top-Knot slide right through and your athlete can play with their Patka on. He does say it get's a little hot sometimes living in Central Valley California summers it gets 95+ regularly what I do to prevent this is before a game pour water through the seems of the helmet and during half time as well. My son says that works perfectly and doesn't complain about the discomfort from heat.I would recommend this to anyone, Although the research for concussions is still being debated on whether this works or not I've seen my son take a few shots to the forehead and on the sideline he's always laughing about how it just bounces right off and doesn't hurt. I'd rather play it safe than sorry many point out that because they wear headgear they will play more dangerously having a sense of false security, but I think that argument is bogus as soon as my son started wearing headgear I spoke to him about this issue and explained that just because he has headgear it does not mean that he can use his head more or run out there and think he is invincible. We talked about concussions and the effects of them in the long run and he understood very well and he does not play like people make it seem, he plays just like he did before, my son was only 6 when he started wearing headgear so I don't believe for one second you can't teach your kid that this headgear doesn't make them invincible.

Awesome Rock Climbing Helmet (Indoor) & great fit!
I bought this for rock climbing indoors, 99% of people dont wear a climbing helmet indoors, but I suffered a brain injury in combat. Even when a rope snags a rock and whips against my head or I gently tap my head on the wall I get a strong flash of light and a headache. I bought this as an “attempt” to reduce the issue. Well the great news is that Ive been whipped so hard my glasses should have went flying but the ear loops that hold the helmet on double as a solid hold on glasses. I’ve also hit the wall and I have never once had another injury where I see that flash of light or headache pain. The helmet is extremely adjustable. I have a hat size between 6 3/4 to 6 & 7/8 depending on the brand, so I bought the medium. I thought I would have to tighten the helmet but it fit extremely well. It comes with 3 (total) sets of ‘incerts’ Various colors but I used the original black and its assembled with Velcro enabling you to adjust it to fit the head perfectly. Probably all types of heads, this easily will fit a size 6 & 3/4 to 7. It grips the back of the head under the back crown of the skull and the ear loops are a huge bonus. How does it look? I’ve had people ask why, and people ask where they can buy one. Many people need them for many reasons. Its not a replacement for a hard outer core helmet, but depending on the sport this is a small miracle! For indoor rock climbing I love it! I even wear it outdoor climbing now and when on Belay outdoors I wear it when I worry about falling debris. Again this is always scenario based. Some climbs will require an actual helmet, most climbs I do dont require one at all, but I treat climbing like riding a bike. I’m not taking a hit without a helmet or protection. Good luck!

Nice Fit/Good Protection
This is a nice alternative to a hard-shell helmet. It fits well, stays in place, is comfortable, and provides good protection.

it actually looks cool! As our son is willing to wear this ...
My son was so mad that I made him wear a helmet for flag football. I made it clear that if we allow him to play, he HAS to wear a helmet. About half the kids on the team have a helmet but they all have a chin strap which I admit, definitely looks dorkier. With the neon green stripe, it actually looks cool! As our son is willing to wear this one - that's a big win for me! One of the other parents on the team even asked where we got it since his kid said his kid liked this one so much better than his! He's been knocked to the ground multiple times and it stays on just fine and w/ the ear holes, he's able to hear better than the ones that go over the ears.

Great product! Looks cute too.
My daughter wanted this helmet because the only fear she shows in goal is when diving near a post. She's afraid she'll hit her head.If you look into it, these helmets and headbands don't do much to prevent concussions. But they definitely protect the head from being split open and certainly cushion any blows to the head. My girl has taken cleats to the face so it's only a matter of time before she gets kicked in the head too.She wears a mouth guard already. This helmet is added protection. It was uncomfortable at first. It irritated one ear. But I made some adjustments and we also figured out if we don't use the ponytail port it helps too (we just tie her hair back low, below the helmet, as the helmet itself keeps the hair out of her face). After adjustments I had her wear the helmet around the house. She actually forgot it was on and wore it for hours!

Other kids like to wear it also when they play goal
After my 11 yr old got a concussion while in goal, I know make him wear this helmet in goal. Other kids like to wear it also when they play goal. It adjusts really well. I got him a M-L per the sizing guide. It took about 45 min to adjust it perfectly, however now it doesn't need to be messed with ever. My son keeps it in the place you would regularly keep a ball in his soccer bag. His coach is very supportive and won't let him in goal w/o a helmet. He's worn if for about 3 months and there is no complaining. He got kicked in the head a few games ago and said he felt it but didn't have a headache or any problems. I am very thankful that this product exists.
