Works great with older Apple/Mac products (so grateful!)
I'm emotionally-attached to an old Macbook Air 13" laptop (a gift from my late dad..to celebrate a career change, at the time). - It still works great for light-browsing, Spotify, gmail, etc..As my eyes have caught-up to my age, I wanted to use a larger secondary display - and this Warrky adapter allows me to connect the laptop to HDMI monitors (using Apple's old "Thunderbolt" / mini-DisplayPort). Works flawlessly: rock-solid, full-HD display/connection (no flickering)! Thank you Warrky! - It's true what they say ("..it's the little things in life!")

Works great
I decided to add my old Surface Pro 6 as a 2nd workstation & for RDP from my primary (Surface Pro 9) but the 29in ultra wide I bought for the Pro 6 wouldn't render correctly, it did a visual stretch. I tried different mini display port to HDMI cables, connected them to both the Surface dock and directly to the video port to no avail. Hence, did a search, discovered a lot of users had the same issue and the fix was to purchase a mini display port adapter. I didn't think it would work but I plugged in the Warrky adapter and, TADA, it worked right off the bat. The adapter can be plugged into both the mini display port and the dock.

Nice Item That Worked For My Needs
I have a "workstation"-type desktop that has the Intel onboard graphics card along with a NVIDIA P600 card that has four mini displayport outputs, and I want to connect it to a 27" monitor that has one of its two inputs being HDMI (the other one is a displayport but I have my other gaming desktop connected to it). So, I was looking for an adapter that would connect mDP to HDMI, but that could handle 2560 x 1440 and not just the usual 1920 x 1080 that most adapters seem to do. After some research I settled on this item from WARRKY that claimed it could do 1440p at 60Hz, and for me it was pretty much a 50/50 chance that either it worked for my situation or it didn't work and I would just return it. I also have Ubuntu Linux running on the workstation which made me wonder if I'd run into any issues there. Turns out this item worked perfectly for me, and the resulting output seems very good. Verified it ran at 2560 x 1440 at 60Hz as claimed, and the product itself seems very well built. Very nice item.

Cheap and effective
Worked perfectly on a Surface Laptop 1 connected to a portable LCD screen via HDMI. This was a much cheaper option than a mini HDMI to mini DP cable.

It works!
This works perfectly with my TV. I can connect my MacBook Pro to it using another half of a cable. The one I had broke and I bought this one to replace it. It’s just fine and reason

Only works on 1080p display, not 4k. w/ macbook pro 2012
Doesn't work on 4k display, only on 1080p and with some noticeable noise.I have a macbook pro mid 2012, everytime I connect to a 4k display (monitor or tv), the display would just flicker, the macbook sees the 4k display, however, the display would reset and only show that can't detect the source.I'm returning.
