Didn't work for me
Unfortunately, this IR extender didn’t work with my TV, even though it was listed as compatible with standard IR repeater systems. I tried multiple ports and settings, but no signal was transmitted. Disappointed that it didn’t function as expected, and now it’s just sitting unused. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re 100% sure it’s compatible with your setup.

Works with my Niles remote extender
Works great with my Niles MSU140 remote extender. The double sided tape that keeps it in place was worthless. Thankfully I keep my own double sided tape on hand, so it was easily resolved. A good alternative for those that need replacement IR flashers for the Niles system.

IR remote pod
I always tape these things on as the heat causes them to drop off. This one fixed the issue I had, thanks.

Good alternative to "name brand" models
I ordered several of these, and they worked very well.

Did not work with sony bravia x900h IR input
It did not work at all when plugged into the IR in jack on my sony bravia. It looks to me like it does not have enough contacts on the plug from what I was able to find online most devices with an IR input require at least three contacts ( count the separate metal sections on plug). I returned this and bought the usb repeater type for around one dollar more and it works great so thats the way to go.
