Nice controller.
This remote has been just fine, I like the digital controls for steering and throttle adjustment, I have multiple RC's so its nice that it can hold up to 10 separate RC settings in memory. If you need a separate on/off channel this is not going to work despite having access to 4 channels, the extra channels do not work to control things like lights. They are designed exclusively for things such as 4 wheel steering or braking, and only respond in kind with the two controllable channels.Huge benefit, no external antenna, anyone coming from the old days with 3 foot long pull out antenna will LOVE this.

Futaba , a CLASS system for all.
Futaba has always been known for high quality products, and ease of use. I bought this system to replace a "IN box." ECX radio system" . The difference in range, and over all control was like night and day, and was immediate. I took the boat out nearly to the edge of sight, and never lost signal . A previous PRE-Water range test extended nearly 3/4 quarters of mile. 10 blocks, and I still had complete control of the radio system .(I probably could have gone even further. ) (yet at that distance it was hard to tell orientation of the boat.) (ON water, It would be nearly impossible.)The system itself has a very comfortable steering wheel, and many options to fine tune both throttle, steering and has a fixed switch third channel which can be assigned to a multitude of tasks. This system is also unique, as being of such out-standing quality, that I am for the first time, giving this product a perfect score. Also of note. The companion receiver, is ..The R2004GF is a 4 channel receiver, and could include additional commands for multi-task systems, being for either marine or land-based systems. It's and excellent choice, either way.In a nutshell. This is a great Radio Control system, and would and will recommend this to any avid R.C person, from the novice, to the pro.I would also like to recognize THE 4PL system as well. For people who want to monitor the models systems'; THE 4PL sports telemetry. And a 4 channel system. Otherwise, they are basically the same units.I have previously owned a Futaba system, and I cannot stress enough, HOW good these systems are.RECOMMEND!

Super easy to use
Super easy to use. Light, accurate and fast enough where I didn't notice any latency at the track. Using currently on my Team Associated RC8T3e. I will however be upgrading to a telemetry system before the end of the year and this will most likely get passed down to my Stampede 4x4 vxl. Good radio, not going anywhere.

Great Range
I bought this to replace my old traxxas remote that would start to lose signal at 50ft. So far I've driven my truck about 1000ft with out losing signal (using the Futaba 3pl) and i am impressed! I'm sure i could have kept going past 1000ft but this was already out of my comfort zone since i could barely see the truck.

Awesome!
Quick and easy assembly. Once I connected the motor, servo and the power supply to the receiver, placed the batteries in the transmitter and turned everything "on", the light turned green and the hobby car was ready to go. There wasn't any programming needed. The control range is crazy far and I enjoy the idea of not having a antenna, because its built-in. Awesome!

Great budget radio
Just over a hundred for a Futaba radio and receiver, you can't go wrong. Almost 20 years ago I purchased the first Futaba computer radio for $400, and this thing has all the same features.

What a great receiver for the money
What a great receiver for the money. Futaba wins again.Perfect for my 5th scale touring car so I can mix front and rear brake bias.

Great product for the money.
Works very good. A little bit flimsy but that is to expect considering the low price. The lack of a LED that indicates that the radio is turned on is a negative. I installed my own green LED after forgetting to turn it off multiple times - draining the battery. I wish they had included a charging cable (there is a plug already installed).
