This is a great trigger guard scabbard - shield that functions as a safety on your Smith & Wesson M&P pistol. This is sized for the "Service" Double column magazine 9mm or 40.S&W M&P Pistol, NOT the "Shield" subcompact single stack 9mm or .40 (they offer same specifically for the "Shield".) This easily clips onto or pulls off of the pistol which covers the trigger guard and prevents accidental movement or unintended discharge. GREAT safety boost if you carry your M&P in a fanny pack, chest carrier, back pack or even pockets. ONLY FOR SHIELD
Despite the questions section assuring me that this would fit the full size and compact M&P line of pistols, it does not. This is clearly for the Shield as it is much to thin to fit the full size or compact. Very disappointed that the description was not more clear as I have now wasted the time it took for it to arrive and now have to wait for it to go back to Amazon before I can order a similar product from a different company that will fit.

This is for the Sheild-NOT the Compact Size M&P
This just came in today. It did not fit the Compact Size M&P. My husband check his M&P Shield and it fit. He wanted it for his compact size though. Just wanted to let people know to save the hassle of returning. We will probably just keep it and order another one for the M&P Compact.

Great product!
Love these trigger guards! I got this for when I'm concealed carrying in my purse. I'll tie the string to the strap and be able to get to my weapon and draw it quickly. Also, there's no way the gun can fire in my purse accidentally. I think it's a great alternative to use for bags and purses when the gun isn't on your person. I'm a female and not many of my jean pockets are big enough to hold the weapon, however tying it to a belt works phenomenally as well!

I don't use this for everyday carry... for me it's good for a go bag or somewhere you want to make sure the trigger is covered.. fits tight & secure

Despite the fact that it listed my pistol, it did not fit. Not even close.
