Really liking this net
A lot of nets have the straps/clips built in which is fine in ideal situations - but we don't always have those. And those bungee style nets look great in videos, but the hooks are always catching and tangling in the net when you try to lay it out, so they're frustrating to use. This net is fairly heavy but that's a good thing. Sometimes you don't even need to tie it down. If you have just a few lightweight items in your truck bed like empty gas cans or cardboard boxes, sometimes you can just toss the net over them and you're ready to go. For bigger loads you can lay the net out as intended, and since there are grommet holes all over, you can strap down whichever way works with your load. Overall, a good setup IMO.

Great Cargo Net! Hooks, not so much
I use this net every trip to the dump / recycle but the hooks always aggravated me. They wouldn’t stay hooked to anything unless they have tension on them and the open hook grabs the net when stored taking 2-5 minutes to untangle… every time I used it.So, I cut off the hooks with a grinder and attached 4 wire gate carabiners and now it holds where I attach it and no trouble unpacking it because the closed carabiners don’t catch on the netting when stored. With my modifications this net is a 5+ 😆

Excellent quality. Holds cargo well.
Excellent quality material and construction. This cargo net will do nice job in holding your stuff down and the cam locks and straps are solid. My only caution is that the webbing is a bit large so depending on the type of cargo you would typically plan to haul, be aware of how the net will secure it.

I can't say enough good stuff about this cargo net!!!
This is fantastic. Don't take a chance of losing your load and hurting someone else because " oh, it won't fly out of the truck. How many times have you seen a mattress or BBQ along the road because someone was too lazy to tie it down. This is a snap to put on and doesn't tangle when put away. Good hooks for securing your stuff.

Great initial impression. Thread straps into cam locks the correct direction. See photo.
SurmountWay 3.5x4.1 1100lbs Truck Bed Cargo Net: I purchased for medium duty hauling of furniture, lawn equip, and bulky boxes in a very short bed pickup (~64x50). I didn't want to spend $100+. After reading mixed reviews, I went ahead with the purchase and thought I'd share some initial insights.- Made of web material similar to seatbelts. Zero stretch.- There are NO grommets in this smaller size. It is all stitched webbing.- The cam locks have a "Feed Web" arrow stamped on them. I read a few reviews reporting that the cams didn't grip. I have tried all four cams using body weight and none have slipped at all. The way to thread these is not intuitive and a bit tricky, but once inserted, I don't think they will easily slip.- The hooks at the end of the straps are fully coated.- The photo in my truck bed is using the top bed rings and the straps pulled as short as they will go. For me, this is the perfect size. Using the bottom rings, it will hold low height cargo close to the bed. Using the upper rings and lengthening the straps will allow it to hold cargo that is well above the sides of the bed.- Has a carry bag. I just kept it assembled. So far, my "just unboxed it" review is very positive and it seems to be a great value. I'll have to see how it holds up after use and in some weather and will report back if it turns out to be junk when put to test. Hopefully these initial impressions are helpful to someone.

It's ok
I used this with my '21 gladiator. The net works more or less. The mid section needs a tie down point.

Thread the Buckles Correctly!
5.5' x 4.1' cargo net. IGNORE the low ratings that mention the webbing slips too easily through the spring clamps. That is a function of their threading the buckle incorrectly. (Unfortunately, no instructions come with the netting.)I figured this net and the buckles are so beefy, there is no way a slippery buckle could be a manufacturing defect. So, I flipped the buckle over and threaded the webbing backwards from behind, (NOT from the front). It is a little tough to get the webbing through, but it can be done. (see photos) Flip the buckle back over and now it works perfectly. Pull the strap down and the webbing with the hook shortens easily and then grabs when tugged by the hook or net.I use this as a cargo net in the back of my Forester, but to do it, I did cut off the buckles and used carabiners at the corners to hook into the Forester's four eye hooks in the trunk area. The spacing between the webbing is large, so this will not stop small objects, just my tool bags.
