Very good, best center channel for the money
I bought this because I was recommended getting a 3 way center channel with a coaxial center tweeter. I had a 2 way center channel with an offset tweeter - this is absolutely the vastly superior design for better sound. Big difference. My only complaint is that it’s quite large and doesn’t look very good. It’s a massive black box that is difficult to deal with from a room / visual design standpoint. You can’t really hide these things. But dialogue is crystal clear to everyone in the room and that’s what matters.

Amazing center speaker.
I had this on my wish list as a recommended upgrade for a center speaker. I am not an audiophile but my old, and cheap, Sony MTM center speaker really made it difficult to hear dialogue. This is an instant upgrade. However: pay attention to the dimensions. This speaker is very large. You will likely need a wall mounted TV or an aftermarket tabletop TV stand to properly place it.

ELAC center with weird sound
I was building a home theater and took several weeks to finish it. I built it around ELAC speakers and wanted to have the timbre in all of them. So I purchased this center. When I finally installed, it has a sound that resemble when a driver is broken. My return window closed due to my house remodeling. I will need to contact ELAC directly. So buyer be aware that despite this center be not that expensive, it can have problems due to bad quality control. In adittion, I can see one the corner barely damage. The box which it came was a little bit bit up, but that could have been the shipping company.

Beautiful sound - Might be the best center for the money
Absolutely love this center….I compared it with my older much more expensive B&W and older but same price point Paradigm and this thing destroyed the both. The clarity and wide dispersion makes you feel like you are in the ideal seating position no matter where you are on the couch. I am having issues with the connection however. It drops out more often than I would like. I am using the same cable as I did with my other speakers so I don’t think it’s the cable, but I am going to switch it out anyway, just to test it out. It doesn’t happen enough for me to return it, but it is disconcerting.

Great center speaker
It’s a fantastic center speaker. I’m baffled by complaints that dialog is muddied. It’s not remotely muddy. So many things affect sound including the room size, furniture, carpet, ear shape, head shape, eat wax, your age, your own arrogance and susceptibility to hokum, and whether you've blown your own hearing over the years listening to loud stuff and so much more. This speaker is wonderful.

A solid center channel, with fatal shortcomings.
A solid, handsome and hefty center speaker that unfortunately promises more than it delivers. A little heavy on the bases and somewhat shallow on the mid-range the Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 is a powerful addition to the surround stage - but with unfortunate limitations. The 4" mid-range sounds great but needs a partner to give it a full soumd stage under a big screen TV. I might also ad that for a center channel speaker I had to put my ear to the 5.25" woofer to know if it was carrying any sound. It was of little help to the mid-range, and where it did help, it added more muffle than clarity.Look, this is a seriously solid performer, but is so - with shortfalls. It absolutely made my system POP and come alive. If only it had the crisp, full clarity I hoped for. It didn't, and because of that, was very reluctantly returned. It needs more work.

Superb center channel
Dialogue can be such a difficult task with so many center channels, especially the one I was using from a fairly high end German brand. It was a MTM design, and I always wanted it to be a 3 way instead. I had wonderful luck with Andrew Jones’ designs in the past, and given that he was working with Elac (I think he still is, but am not certain), I figured he likely had a hand in this design, given the signature concentric design. I was not disappointed, but I will also say that it seemed to get way better with time- perhaps that’s a break in, perhaps it was me getting used to it, but I absolutely love it now, and how well it blends with the rest of the canton/kef setup I have going on.
