Q: Is this for a 3kg furnace?

The crucible size on my machine is about 2 inches by 8 inches tall. The same machine that’s sold on Amazon. Awesome replacement to save a machine !

Q: Can i use this for wax burnout ?

Not too sure. This is a replacement heating coil for an electronic smelting furnace.

Q: Temperature setting not reaching 2000F when gradually increasing by 200F

Q: How many hours at high temperatures is this coil expected to last?

It depends on what metal, some are acidic and eat the coil faster. I use it just to melt bronze and then cool and get at least 100 firings out of it.
